  1. At least give us an idea of general area in kent??? It's a big place
  2. Cheers Jaimes, having done the nearside today i managed to pull through enough outer to sit nicely but the offside (photo) is still bloody stuck! It might move better without the cable in it so I'll have another try then, Cheers again for the numbers i'll sort them tomorrow ta should be able to fit them tuesday :) 8)
  3. might try and check out the gearbox mount as it's the only one I ain't done! Money permiting, I've got mk4 caliper woes at the mo :(
  4. I'm confused, my understanding of mk4 rear calipers were that all you had to do was get the mk2-mk4 conversion hoses and swap them and the calipers over, bleed 'em - job done. Why does my handbrake conduit look too short??????? Is this normal???? 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf12062010966 (Large).jpg[/attachment:2qixgq5f]12062010968 (Large).jpg[/attachment:2qixgq5f] There is the possibility of deleting a securing point part way down the trailing arm that could give me a bit more slack but I'd like a considered opinion on that before doing it! Also If i'm going to replace the cables (which I now am!) do I need standard 1.8 valver/G60 cables or the later ones for the late valver/VR6, AVS lists two different numbers would the later ones be any better in this situation?? Colin
  5. I got my driver's inner cv done and it been quiet for the last couple of months, 8)
  6. recently paid £75 for a £125 silver bosch battery for my mate's mum' Scenic!
  7. Critical_Mass if your rear axle bushes are as fooked as mine were put your handbrake on and then see if you can rock the rear wheels. Mine moved and the axle pivot rattled like hell inside the screw bushes! Nick @ Youngs Garage said they were the worst he'd ever seen!!! Oops! This was years ago when I'd only had my C a short while!!
  8. Good spot ....if it's not Passat! Difficult call, I wasn't totally convinced but couldn't think what else it might have been - but now i'm not so sure.
  9. Or don't ever sell your Corrado and just get on with it! :camp:
  10. :nono: That'll be driving without due care 'a lesser charge than dangerous driving and comes with a punishment of 3-9 penalty points, discretionary disqualification and a fine and a conviction will invariably affect your insurance premium. :nono: ...you should be able to route all your tweeters cables without removing the dash or glove box, unless your hands are massive lol
  11. So glad the pr!ck's out of Downing street - Dons flame suit
  12. Got a PPI amp in the footwell, says it needed 2" clearance for heat disapation but 1.5" seems to do the trick fine see pics 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfWhite PPI_Grill (7) (Large).jpg[/attachment:2nb5jxyl] Black PPI (Large).jpg[/attachment:2nb5jxyl] Only proofed the inside of the door myself, couple of layers of Damplifier and then some Spectrum paint on stuff to bridge the gaps. 8)

  14. Not a worry I've had that on different days from a chap on foot and a bloke in a very sorted looking shiney Ralley 8) , both at my local Halfrauds as i've been about to leave. I'm so unused to it i wondered what was up! I thought the Ralley wanted my parking spot at first!!!
  15. I think the 944 TB is the same one as the 924 TB. As stated ...er...somewhere on this forum the porsche Firebreather item opens in the opposite direction and has a weak spring. i have that TB and a slight 'manipulation' of the throttle cable direction and manufacture of a situable throttle quadrant is required and in my case it still has the 'temporary' shock-cord tensioner (about the 3rd one now!!) I must look into trying to fit a spring from the old throttle body but i don't know if that would work being the opposite operation, could i just flip the spring over and attach to the bottom, who knows!!??
  16. Henny d'you mean the carburettor hospital site?? How d'you manage to navigate that site, it's a bloody nightmare or am I missing something???

  21. I never cease to be amazed by people that have younger corrados than me and are then 'afraid' to drive them anywhere :camp: . My 20 year old valver has been to france, luxembourg, germany, belgium, holland etc. and never missed a beat. Look after it and it will look after you. They were meant to be driven, period.
  22. Yeah didnt go out on mine either pal If you read this link part way down the SXOC posters thread there is a reset procedure 8) Edit: From SXOC thread 'Q: it doesn’t work help!! A: it will be you don’t have a memory card in the camera or you need to plug the camera into a computer for a min 3 hours, the orange light will illuminate during this. of the orange light is still on get a pin (pencil is too big, also a stylus for a touch screen phone is too big, just get a pin, or paper clip that works, but a thin one) and press the reset button on the side.'
