5 x Corrado Golf MK2 G60 GTI 15” BBS 403 Alloy Wheels With Centre Caps 4x100 ET33 Hi these where purchased as spares for my Corrado G60 but no longer required, these look great on a Corrado or a MK2 Golf GTI. The wheels I am selling are in need of refurbishment I has a flat spot on the rear, and another a dent in the rim. I was quoted about £40 to sort the two wheels out. They come complete with the centre caps three of which have been painted white by the previous owner the other is silver, these caps as you are aware are super rare. These caps could be striped and powder coated at the same time as the wheels. I have used City Powder Coating previously on other wheels and they charge £20 per wheel any colour to strip them sand blast and power coat them in any colour, for more information please see the attached link:- https://www.citywheelrefurbishment.co.uk/#price-list The wheels are genuine VW BBS and details as follows: · Part Number 191 601 025 AA · Model BBS 407 · Rim Size 15x6.5J - 4x100 · ET33 · 5 wheels and one tyre, however the tyre looks quite old so would replace. I am happy to send more pictures if required or you can come a view. I live near the centre of Solihull B91 1LN - between Jct4 and Jct5 of the M42. I am happy to send by a courier but would prefer cash on collection. If you require any additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me 07867 832529.

The original exhaust has been fitted with the correct early brackets and all seems fine
-
Just got off the phone to VW Heritage and it appears they supplied the wrong exhaust and luckily they are happy to take it back. So need to check the one I previously had fitted and confirm if it is in fact the correct one or not. Will check and let you know how I get on. Really appreciate your help.

Much appreciated thanks for you help, trying to put right everything the last owner did wrong, spent £2000 so far sorting out all his corner cutting.

Not sure that's correct for the early 1991 as they changed I think in July 1991 till 1995. Regards Richard

Hi all, I have had a early1991 G60 for about a year now. Bought it off a guy that had fitted a brand new Jetex exhaust but it was the wrong one and has been bumping on the chassis. Purchased the correct version from VW Heritage a few months back, my Mechanic has just tried to fit it and it appears that the previous owner also fitted the later hangers. Any idea what the part number would be for the correct ones or who may sell them. Regards Richard..........

Corrado parts sale inc parcel shelf, bbs caps and tyres
Moreau-Smith replied to Majik's topic in Parts for Sale
I would be interested in one of the centre caps as a spare, how much for one. -
It was the previous owner that had it painted its a good job but a few corners were cut such as the rear screen not being removed, suspension and exhaust its cost me a fortune so far £1600) in 4 weeks sorting out the mechanical areas the previous owner ignored. I wasn't expecting to do as much. Would really appreciate it if there is anyone local (Solihull / Midlands Area) with a fully sorted Corrado that I could have a look at to see what else needs doing. Trying to do the right thing by the car but its hard when you dont have a reference point.

Cheers for your response, its in great condition but the body shop masking tapped around it but you can see a prominent line were the tape has been hence I was looking to have the tailgate painted again and refit / replace the seal afterwards. Love my Corrado but the lack of spares is a major issue, think it may be the reason they aren't worth as much as everyone predicted several years ago. Regards Richard.........

Hi is it still possible to get a new rear window seal or is it re-usable. The car has had a good respray, they removed all the windows except the rear one and I would like to get it repainted but with the glass out. It's a 1991 G60. Regards Richard..........

Hi just wondering did you ever get to the bottom of the issue as I have just bought a G60 and the steering is too light, it corners well etc but its just to light. Regards Richard...........

Hi did you ever get to the bottom of this as I have a G60 that has really light steering. Regards Richard........

I beleive it has standard springs at present with Koni Top Adjustable Shocks, standard BBS wheels and fairly cheapish tyres at present. Just bought some GAZ Coilovers which will be fitted next week along with new bottom arms and top mounts front and rear. Apparently all the other bushes etc were replaced except for the top mounts, bottom arms and rear axle bushes. Once all the suspension is replaced it will have the wheel alignment done, but if it needs a rack or something else it would make sense to do it at the same time as it will be more cost / time effective. I am using D.W. Racing to do the work so hopefully then will see if its an issue, Darryl Wilson and his Dad Lez have been looking after my cars for years as well as preparing and maintaining VW's for the VW Cup and BTCC, but just wanted to find out if its a known fault.

I had two Golf MK3 VR6's back in the day. Seems light compared to the one I had 20 years ago, my daily MK5 GTI, my MK1 TT, the wifes new shape passat and my sons VW UP. Even the guy I bought it off thought the steering was light.

Hi all after a gap of 20 years I have bought myself another Corrado G60 its a 1991 H plate, have a few issues and would appreciate some help. The main one is the steering feels very very light, it is accurate and works fine and doesn't seem to have any play in it at all, works well but its just very light. Any ideas what could be causing it. Regards Richard............
