Hi Matt, Yeah the sunroof seal is knackered and needs replacing which is why I thought it was a possible culprit. Will do some more investigations. I am such a loser looking at autotrader for VR's now hahahahahaha The valver is nice but damn lazy tbh after yesterdays drive.

Sweet. Do you know where they drain to so I can check to make sure they are clear?

Late dash mate. have sourced headliner already and looking at a dash on flea bay atm.

So I am trying to figure out what the possible culprit could be for the wet roofliner. It could either be from the poorly fitted screen or perhaps the drain tunnels in the sun roof? I have sourced a new headliner which I am collecting next week-end so want to solve the leak issue before fitting.

mmmmmm i don't have the facilities to sheer discs so may have to go for a lesser size.

Very happy Portent. Also need new dash insert complete off a late valver. All my air vents are loose as fek and it is cracked where the radio goes in so if anyone knows of one knocking about. The accellerator is also very stiff, is this normal? I think it may need a new cable.

Thanks guys. I need just a normal sunroof headliner then. Mine is soaked and mouldy from a leaking roof.

No worries mate, which is why I want to see piccies first. Do you have the headliner available if it is a sunroof model?

Thanks for the replies guys. The sunroof seal as loose and falls into the ridge so I may replace it if I can. the windscreen has sealer showing down the insides so i am pretty sure it has not been fitted correctly which is why the seal wont just pop back in, I have tried and it just wont go in lol. Ian pm me mate with a price and what are tyres like on it? I had to put a brand new tyre on the car today as te wall had a blister in it. Supercharged I tried the wheel thing on the right and it aint doing much. If you turn on high beam the blue light is very feint too so I defo need to get behind it and see what is happening or pay a specialist (on here) to redo the leds for me ;-)

As per title, just got a late valver today and the headlining is soaked due to a leak somewhere so I want to replace it with a black one. Based in London but can collect if not too far away or happy to pay postage costs.

Interested in the seats please and if you have the headliner (sunroof type) I would have that too. Pics would be welcome too.

Is the headliner on the valver available? Sunroof model right? Also interested in the dash trim with the vents and cigarette lighter. If so how much posted to London?

So I went to get the valver today. The car is in decent condition but nowhere near the discription that was given, so I am peed off about that BUT i was still happy to take her. I don't mind doing work on her so it should be ok, provided there are no major issues....... Off hand these are the problems that will need sorting: A few bulbs - O/S headlight, N/S fog I may have to rip the dash out as the bulbs for the display are useless!!! New wheels Windscreen refit - you will see the pic and understand. Just hoping there is no major rust underneath :unhappy: The headlining is soaked by the windscreen so needs to be replaced The sealer thing around the sunroof is also knackered - see pics. Anyway, here are the pics of her. I am still reasonably happy and hoping it will be aasy fixes and not too dear....... WINDSCREEN SUNROOF

Thanks Riley, yeam mine is a 95 model too so want to make sure I get the arches properly filled and the car properly stanced. Any particular reason for shaving the rear disc or was it just for show?

I am NW London and just up the road from ace myself. I usually pop down there on VAG night (last Tuesday of every month).

Collect mine tomorrow and it will be a daily for me, I however only really drive on week-ends living in London so it is really a combination of both for me.

Yeah i will give a good once over. I don't believe it was a full windows out spray job. the seller says the paint was just looking tired like the previous owners never polished it or something so he basically just freshened it up. can't wait till tomorrow now lol.

I read something about upgrading the headlight wiring loom. Will need to look into that. Damn shopping list is already growing hahahaha

2 litre 16 valve is referred to as a valver as far as I know. Corrados is a whole new learning curve for me but I know VW very well.
