  1. IMHO unless your going to strip the engine I wouldn't use scotch-brite, wire wool or a steel wire brush just in case bits break off and get missed with the compressed air. I have used a brass brush to good effect instead which is softer and easier to spot any bits that have broken off.

     

    Agree this is the way to go.

    I did this to my engine of my bike, i know its not a car but it shows what can be done, i used the traditional mop / drill, and 3 types of polishing soap and a whole lot of time and effort.

    May i enquire to what is wrong? im not up on wheels and their specs etc , please tell just intrested in case i swap my speed lines.


  4. Yes..I actually bought my corrado off this sellar and have texted him to give me a good price, as i spent nearly £3 grand and didnt get a badge with the car, back or front..Hands off ...:smug::p lol


  5. The meeting at Barnsley is at the Old Post Office, Haigh, just off the M1 at junction 38. As Vag-hag says, its on the second Wednesday every month.

     

    Usually a good turnout, with a good mix of vans and cars, beetles, golfs etc ( only us in a Corrado )
