like mentioned earlier don't pay until until your happy, to get rid of deep scratches where the repaired arch has been welded in, means sanding back the panel. Then starting by using primer filler and flattening the panel down again so its perfect before applying the base coat then the laquer. Try find a garage that deals with restorations for older cars as i've found that the painters tend to take more pride in their work and will be willing to show you examples of their work.

both cars looking good, the alfa looks well mean
-
the back bumpers normally sit quite tight with little gap at all, but the fronts tend to have a drop gap where the bumper sits below the wing, you cant adjust the gap unless you adjust the bracket points where the bumper ends slide onto.

tell them the paintwork looked better before they started.........£1500 for a shady paint job, i wouldn't pay them nothing until they sorted it out to the standard you expected.

i'll need to get it double checked as my sparkies were black when i changed them yesterday, think its slighty over fueling, when i accelerate quick and put the clutch down the revs come down slowly is that a sign over overfueling? Can normally hear a hissing noise when i turn the engine off, checked for vaccum leaks but couldn't find any might be the drilled airbox releasing the pressure?

checked my lancaster classic policy and apparantley some policies with them build ncb and others don't, luckily mine does.
-
I'm with lancaster with my corrado they were well cheaper than other insurers as they classify the corrado as a classic (or any car thats atleast 12 years old), i hope the classis ncb can be used when i switch to a standard policy though..
