go easy on the compound best doing it with loads of water and be carefull on the corners and creases, hope you've put a fair few layers on, aerosol paint is no where near as durable as 2 pack

i had a 160rli in my last corrado and would recommend it , never had a problem in the year i owned the car, now have another corrado and had a cobra installed the 8186 model, quite basic but does the job. Had a toad ai606 on my previous polo which had a few more functions than the cobra and the autowatch, but given the choice of the three i'd go for the cobra.

what have you used to get rid of the pin hole that the skim of filler leaves, have you blown it over with stopper?
-
nice one, PVW would be crazy not to do a full feature done on your car mate.

I installed an internal switch i used the wiring that came of my broken corrado door handle when i fitted the passat handles. Just cut of the wiring from the old handle so you can plug the new switch straight into the original connection .Connect the the three wires to a two way rocker switch with three connection points (maplins) so that the car can be unlocked and locked by pressing the switch.

have you changed the fuel filter recently? Is there oil in the dizzy cap? try changing the sensor on the side of the head that is connected to the isv.

Can't make a decision.....what engine conversion to do????
Bobby replied to mrbeige's topic in Engine Bay
apparently the mk3 golf 8 valve bottom end and pistons provide a suitable match for the 16vt -
I just out the leak on mine was the the inlet seal on the air intake , the seal was only a couple of quid and no more wet carpets.I took the whole carpet which i would advise as the sound proof padding needs to be dried out properly as it acts like a sponge and holds water for a long time. Plus i changed the carpets to black ones from grey,as the grey ones are too hard to keep clean. Its not hard to take the full carpet out.

its located in the inner wheel arch duct (the ones that feed air to the brakes from the front bumper) on the drivers side, i think i might have a spare one knocking about i will check when i get home later.

washed the car today so added some new pics, new grill, colour coded passat handle and rear number plate panel, all painted by me. Interior dash lighting all changed to blue and red leds. quite a lot of purple pearl in the aqua blue.

very mean looking corrado, where are your front indicators we did the same to a mates corrado and put them in the headlight but they aren't to easy to see when the headlights are on full. Will be getting some spray work done by dean hopefully next week, top painter.
