newbie here.

Recommended Posts

Well I've been a member since 2003 but never posted...my bad.

I browse the site regularly to see what's new and to see what everyone's up too.

I'll officially introduce my self now...

My name is Corrado (pretty coming name for Italians) I wanted a Corrado since grade 7 around 1990 when the first g60's came out. I purchased this VR6 back in 1996 and it's been the best investment I ever made. I could have the worst day, but as soon as I get into my car I feel like a million bucks.

She's never been winter driven, and she sleeps in the garage with a heater by her side.

Modifications:

-Full suspension including upper and lower front and upper and lower rear Nuspeed swaybars, KW coilovers, Oettinger rear muffler, Oettinger RE wheels with Falken GRB FK-451(225/35/17)

Visual Enhancements:

-RS front bumper, air ducts replace the fog lights, Badgeless grille, Zender rear wing, mk1 Scirocco wiper, euro e-codes and smoked M3 tail lights.

Inside:

-Sparco race wheel, Audi tt pedals, short shifter and Momo leather shift knob. Sony head unit with a Fosgate 12" boxed and punch 75 amp.

Motor:

-ported and polished head, 268 kat cams, k&n filter with costume made aluminums housing, and a Garrett chip.

Future mods:

-super charger, newer style beetle headrest to replace original headrest, put on original bumper if I can find a 90mm front spoiler( looking for a 90mm front spoiler)and that's pretty much it for now.

Welcome aboard mate :)

I was at the CCC meet in TO last year

(the idiot with spiky hair), and I must say your car does look damned nice, especially digging the license plate 8)

I hope you do realise that my pictures of your car lead to a flood of people asking about what those wheels are ;)

im sure this is my wallpaper...

has been for donkeys. ontario plate on a standard bumper and grille ?

Thanks.

Yes we here in Ontario are required to have a front plate or we get a hefty fine. As long as it's on the front and not on the dash they cant bother me.

Corrado.

Nice car! I love RS front bumpers. I want one for mine. Wonder if I could get away with having the license plate in the same position... Sweet wheels too, not so sure about the spoiler tho. Welcome!

sweet car mate, how do you find the Nuspeed swaybars? do they improve the handling & tighten up the car??

Thanks Matt, but I'm actual thinking of going back to my stock bumper if I get my hands on the 90mm front spoiler and the wing will come of too. I also have M3 side skirts and a rear upswept diffuser that I will put on IF I can't get the euro front oem spoiler.

I got the air ducts costume made. Since here in Canada the Corrado's come with dummy fog light (they don't work) Something about impact specifications.

I don't know it's pretty stupid if you ask me, Canada and there rules and regulations.:bad-words:

I'm really happy with the Nuspeed sway bars, I felt a big difference when I put them in.

The back one in the trunk especially, my car's back end use to give out under hard corners, but now she stays really tight and grounded with no sway what's so ever. The only way I could put it would be to say, "it handles like it's on rails", really. I set this car up more for handling, I would like to do the half cage in the future.

Thanks,

Corrado.

The more I see a well installed RS front bumper, the more tempted I become!

Thanks for the low down on your car dude and welcome aboard. And what does "my bad" mean?
