Riley 0 Posted March 11, 2006 aye,i was always gonna tell ya,just had to say the obvious 'im not telling bit' cough - duostyling air/fuel gauge - cough  snipped the wire from the gauge that runs to the lambda probe and bang!problem instantly gone! to say i couldnt believe it was/is an understatement... anyway,i took it out of the dash and sort of looked at it (holding back, trying not to turn it into many little pieces) but plugged it back in and...it works properly now :? reads diffarently to what it did before and no running problems :!:

_leon_ 0 Posted March 11, 2006 I've got a spreadsheet detailing all of my costs for it - in the past 15 months i've already spent near double the initial cost of the car on restoring/upgrading it...
Walesy 0 Posted March 11, 2006 Always the same with me too, I spend twice as much on paying for it to be done up :cuckoo:

was8v 0 Posted April 26, 2006 nuts - you weren't tempted by a late dash then?! For the record my alpine 6x4s fit in the standard enclosures without mods.
Riley 0 Posted April 26, 2006 likin the 6x9s 8) 6x9's? greeny? you mean the 6x4's? nuts - you weren't tempted by a late dash then?! For the record my alpine 6x4s fit in the standard enclosures without mods. nah,i like the early dash, the sliders remind me of the mk1  just not keen on the round heater control knobs on the late dash. was good, allowed me to really tidy wiring up/reroute stero/afr wiring into original clips etc my 6x4's wouldnt go in without mods, not too much feckin about though! oh and the original speakers will go straight back in and secure correctly! :D neil.
