Red Lamps, Which bulbs?

Mine still flash bright red, even with green bulbs.

 

I have a solution though, just don't indicate when there are any police behind you..........and put your old light back on for the MOT.

 

Yeah, but havent you tinted inpros?, if thats the case, you should be useing yellow bulbs

amber bulbs still flash read.

 

I think I put too much red on the lens, but if I put any less on they'd have looked pink.

I've settled on 2 thick layers of Folia tec red tint. In direct sunlight they're still orangeish but on overcast days they are very dark orange/red (see sig). Not quite what I wanted but it looks better than the very orange standard colour and avoids entanglements with the law.

look orange to me mate...tried the strip over the indicators and a think coat over the top trick???

Yeah I know they're orange still, but a lot darker than standard.

 

I was just showing what 2 layers of red looks like. You need 3 or 4 to go all red but then you will get red indicators, mine still flash amber.

hmm i got a couple of sets of lights gonna start experimenting on some layers will let u kno how it goes,,,wat the best of both worlds tbh
