Phil K 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Are the headlights for lhd only? (not sure this effects the beam pattern of the fogs?) They do look kinda cool - would be int in a pair depending on price 8)
Jim 2 Posted March 23, 2005 I don't quite get the appeal or point of yellow headlights or fogs.. anyone care to explain?! :)
mrbeige 0 Posted March 23, 2005 not my cup of tea either........ Who's going to photochop them onto riley's car then? Come on guys you've had 6 hours already!!!
gradeAfailure 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Are the headlights for lhd only? (not sure this effects the beam pattern of the fogs?) Dunno about the beam pattern of the fogs, but by the looks of the headlights, the yellow part is in the reflector so you could just swap the headlight lenses for RHD ones... Bally 0 Posted March 23, 2005 hhmm the headlamsp arent to bad.. not keen on the fogs!!
gibber 0 Posted March 23, 2005 It mite just be me, but it just looks like the reflector is painted yellow. Could you not just use the stuff you can buy to paint ya head lights yellow when you go to france, and do them yourself? Or even a yeelow nail varnish as that is translucent. Lippy 0 Posted March 23, 2005 sorry guys, that looks pants! just my 2p tho ;)
Shilakadaddy 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Attempted photoshop  Gotta say I don't really see the appeal... I think I'd have to have the indicators the same colour.
daves16v 1 Posted March 23, 2005 Not for me, would you smile if you had Yellow teeth
Riley 0 Posted March 23, 2005 i really dont know why i like em? i just do  :? i think the yellow looks good against the black, cheers for the shop Shilakadaddy. 8) i could do with new headlights and fogs at some stage so i might try the amberlight stuff. neil.
gibber 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Amberlight thats the stuff. Mite be a bit tricky to do the fogs as you cant easily get the glass off to paint the refector, but it could still be done with an angled/bent paint brush throught the buld hole!
Riley 0 Posted March 23, 2005 yep,ive used it before on the mk1  ok,so later today people may not like my corrado as much  how do i get the fogs out? neil.
gibber 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Yours the the later model c? Is so slide the indicator to the side and it should pop out, then behind where the indicator was you will find 4 rusty seft tap screws, the fog comes out with the whole bracket as you can see in you top pic! carpoid 0 Posted March 23, 2005 I don't quite get the appeal or point of yellow headlights or fogs.. anyone care to explain?! :) Because they're still doing their job without blinding others on the road ? Nothing worse than people driving around with blinding fog lights on IMO. Not liking the headlights but can't decide on the fogs, think they look good on the burgundy C tho. Suprised people hate these but want those chav angel eyes !! YUK !!
Phil K 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Riley, did you do the lens or the reflector? the thing I like about the ones in your firct post is that although they are yello tinted the glass is still clear... not too sure I'd do my lenses
Riley 0 Posted March 24, 2005 yep i did the lenses phil. will be fitting the fogs today, anyone know how the headlights come out? i know theres the 2 screws on top,any more? cheers, neil. :)
Ford 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Recon on a black c they could look pretty cool. Fogs are growing on me, I am liking the euro look, not sure about headlights though yet. Look forward to seeing them on your car. Can't imagine it would look great on a silver/light coloured C, but on darker colours it has potential. The yellow fogs on the golf and the bumperless front looks awesome btw!
