Ash tray space- room for guages?

It was quite a while ago that i got my holder and i can see any on ebay at the min, but i have seen seen them on there since. Ill keep my eye out for you.

 

The one ive got has slopes so that the dials are pointed at the driver 8)

doh now i want to do this now! i take it its pretty straight foward to put later controls in just fabing some brakets and getting the correct bowdens? im feelin what 20v turbo has done with swapping the stereo and the gauges which gauges are you using guys are there any with a good match to the c's vdo cluster the audi ones have red needles iirc

you can get 'em straight from VDO that'll match spot on... but you'll PAY for 'em... :|

 

I used some Autometer gauges in J-DUB and changed the faces of my speedo etc to match... 8)

DDI also do the TT-style reverse-glow gauge faces to match the main faces.

 

The standard VDO gauges that were a VW option aren't too difficult to get hold of, but the housing for RHD is rarer than hen's teeth...
