alby 0 Posted April 10, 2005 i agree about white cars.i picked it up cheap and its got a mint recaro interior. the plan was to sell the interior and have a car that cost next to nothing.trouble is i cant part with the recaros.then came the lights coilies etc etc etc  ive ordered new chrome bolts for them but still dont know whether to paint the centres silver again or not

CaiosG60 PWR 0 Posted April 10, 2005 Nooo, keep the centers black! The contrast against the white is awesome! I rember a german white mk1 golf cabriolet being in pvw or the golf with BBS splits that had black centers. That looked mint too. Think its the best theme/style to go with on a white car. carpoid 0 Posted April 10, 2005 Nice !! I would keep the centres black but put chrome finish BBS centre caps ..... can't beat BBS splits !
alby 0 Posted April 10, 2005 cheers chaps the centre caps that are on there are the wrong ones.they are one piece plastic jobs. i need to find a set of the metal rings then its polished round centres to match the new chrome bolts when they arrive from germany. alby 0 Posted April 23, 2005 someone will probably come along with a million reasons not too i expect but i used that brasso wadding stuff.much easier than peek/autosol imo. they are a pain tho keeping them looking like that. new bolts were bought from ebay.de
chubbybrown 0 Posted April 23, 2005 Very Nice :-D I have splits on in the summer and go back to the Sebrings in the winter. Im just starting on the polishing and autosol does the job but doesnt half numb my fingers, will try the brasso route :) and can anyone suggest a cheap buffer ? How much were the Nuts via Ebay.de ?
