Craig 0 Posted August 22, 2014 Looks awesome. I hope you get the price you want but I knew Ramsey's car very well and that was like brand new inside and was making good power and a very tidy storm that had a very different price. But each has a different appeal
clumpy1 11 Posted August 22, 2014 That is a lovely Corrado and has got all the bit's to justify your asking price but it would also need to have absolutely every receipt, mot, tax disc etc GLWS
Bullfinch 0 Posted August 22, 2014 Looks an amazing car. Does anyone know what it sold for last time?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) £15k iirc Shaun and I followed the same path and I know how much it cost to build this car. £16k is a steal. Edited August 22, 2014 by Kevin Bacon
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 24, 2014 That is some big big money......you'd really have to LOVE corrados :) Agree though, to build this car would cost that easy and that's not to mention all the hassle of sorting it out.
coullstar 0 Posted August 24, 2014 You could argue this is one of the best Corrado's in the world. I would say its worth the money.
swiftkid 1 Posted August 24, 2014 Absolutely awesome corrado but pictures don't show engine bay, the 1 bit I'd be wanting to see!!
robrado974 1 Posted August 24, 2014 Judging by the rest of the car , you could proberbly eat your dinner off of it !
KADVR6 0 Posted August 25, 2014 So what have you done to the car since you bought it off Shaun, what wheels does it come with?? The sale advert is a little empty to say the least, especially when your wanting 16k for it.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 26, 2014 Agreed, it is a bit of a lazy advert. I gave it some consideration over the weekend because I know what's gone into this car. Spent many hours on the phone with Shaun during it's build and taking this on would feel like the car has come home, but it's way too mint for me. I like to use and abuse my cars and it would be peppered with stone chips in a matter of hours, which would be a crime of the highest magnitude! It needs to go to the right person to keep it unique and pristine. Anyone considering it, there's more than £16K in this car just in parts and labour. Jim 2 Posted August 26, 2014 There's no doubt it was a top class car. Saw it a few times and it was genuinely jaw dropping. That advert really needs sorting out though!! :)

I agree but just a very slim market place with that price tag...
clumpy1 11 Posted August 26, 2014 I agree but just a very slim market place with that price tag... Do you think it is too highly priced?
C5 OEM 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Do you think it is too highly priced? If you add it all up individually then the price makes sense.... 20k mile concourse car.....massive spec engine..... But finding someone to pay 16k for a corrado....? What other car could you get for that money.... I personally would not pay 16k for any corrado.
coullstar 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Dunno, knowing the spec you'd be hard pushed to get a better Corrado IMO. In fact looking at it I think I would pay that as it would be a keeper for sure and you sure as hell wouldnt get one for that spec by building it. Im the same as Kev though i.e. I couldnt its too good a car for me to own as Id just be out driving it all the time.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 27, 2014 It's drag strip ready as well with the Gemini gear set and uprated drive shafts :) Now that would controversial wouldn't it, someone buying it and running it up Santa Pod every weekend  The crazy man repainted the car because he wasn't happy with VW's finish. Now that is seriously next level fastidiousness!
clumpy1 11 Posted August 27, 2014 If it is still in the same condition when the previous owner owned it it is well worthy of the price tag no doubt
TanVr6 0 Posted June 30, 2015 Just read this thread from start to finish! Amazing! Did it sell for 16k? Anyone lucky enough to buy it from the forum?
Chuggs1 10 Posted June 30, 2015 Stunning car - wish I had the money and the mechanical skill to own it and give justice to it - think I would be too scared to drive it out of my garage in case a stone chipped it or if rain fell on it!

Same! I would just bring it out the garage, for a wash! Detail back in the garage then to a show and then back in the garage again! Way too mint to drive daily
Chuggs1 10 Posted June 30, 2015 Although my garage would need decorating with some nice flock wallpaper and a crystal chandelier! - Maybe a little stained glass too - Lol
ti1103 0 Posted August 25, 2015 Did agree a sale for last summer, but fell through, so still tucked away in the garage. So who wants (can afford)? I agree with the rest, its a bit specialist and wish JKM were just round the corner.
ozowen 2 Posted August 26, 2015 I remember you enquiring about my car which was for sale at the time 4x4 blackberry turbo and when you mailed to say you had bought this well, I knew you had got the best. I believe the price is right it will like all highly modded cars take time to sell. Good luck with the sale, still got the B2 RS4. If I owned a garage I might of had sleepless night debating buy or not to buy.
