Oldest and newest Corrado?

Recommended Posts

As we have recently had the how long have you had your corrado thread I thought it would be fun to find out who has the oldest and newest C

So to start things off I'll put mine up as one of the newest

Registered Jan 1996

In the event of a draw it can be decided on vin numbers.

Any offers?

Hmm difficult to say the newest really as there are a few P reg storms but would you consider them newer than your N reg because it was registered later ?

just a thought .....

Good point GIXXERUX, Lets base it on when the car was produced as opposed to when it was registered as i'm sure there were a few sitting around for a while before they were sold.

I will post my Vin number if any later registered ones come up.

Mine is one of the oldest being an early G plate, not registered until Jan 90 but build date is November 89.

Unless someone has another press car or they buy the Paris show car then Veedub_Rado's is going to be tough to beat!

Yeah, a piece of initial UK Corrado history the first red press & dealer test cars. I'm sure there's another one still knocking about but I last saw it in the flesh from that set of registrations 6 years ago.

So you be carefull with it

Excuse my lack of profile, I have only recently joined!

I have a German Vr6 which I have registered in France.

Vin number ends 048626. I am lead to believe it was one of the last to leave Wolfsburg?

Wicked forum!

Welcome to the forum! hate to say it though.. your car probably never got to Wolfsburg, let alone left.

It was made at Karmann.

last VIN off the production line was actually WVWZZZ50ZSK004043, last production was June 1995.

Think you need to check your VIN.

Mine's 003946 - only 97 from the end !!!!

Some cars did hang around on dealer forecourts for a while (The Corrado was officially a sales flop after all ;-) ) hence some are registered in the UK at P.
