tonertron 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Help!!!! As per the other thread about new bulbs for the c, I have been trying to get the headlight out in order to change the bulbs.........which will be followed up with one of those wiring looms.........but they wont come out. I have unscrewed the plates that connect it to the frame, and followed the instructions in the handbook to pull forward slightly, but this does not work. They seem to be catching in the middle at the back. Does anyone have any handy tips for doing this???
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted November 26, 2005 Big hole on the middle of the panel that the headlights attach to - that's because you need to put a screw-driver down there and undo the THIRD screw ;)
Walesy 0 Posted November 26, 2005 I assume you know that they're screwed in the middle aswell..there's a hole in the slam panel that you can gt a screwdriver down... EDIT--ooop...beaten to it by the boss...

VR6 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Good point! It's only 3 screws and removing the connectors and the lights pop out.....in theory.
g60greeny 0 Posted November 26, 2005 yeah mine came out real easy :D just lost a couple of the small clips, think they hold the surround on,not sure? i know the screw which is in the middle can be a bit of a pain if its a bit rusty, luckily mine were ok
dinkus 10 Posted November 26, 2005 It's certainly a lot easier to take the headlight out if you've got a VR - there's bugger all room back there.

Majik 0 Posted November 27, 2005 In my experience the screws were rusty and rounded off, i had to find the longest drill bit and drill them out.
