Black Plastic Lip

Recommended Posts

What is the black thing underneth the bumper of the Corrado? I have seen them in differnt sizes and I like how they look but I want mine to be bigger and lower for a more aggressive look. Can I buy another one. Plus I fucked mine up the other day going over a bump (scratches).

It was a storm drain gutter that ran through the middle of the road. It was pretty embarassing I had a cute little fox in the passenger seat when I did it...

Well that's not good... you should leave room for girls int he front seats and keep your pets in the boot....

These are rather bulky, so not sure how much shipping would be on them. you can order them from GPC if I remember correctly.

The answer is in your post dude... hold your mouse over the red text that reads GPC! Got it? Good! 8)

I'm guessing that they probably don't ship to the US though :?

I'm presuming the black plastic lip. They come in 50mm (I Think) and 90mm.

Didnt know there were 2 sizes - can you get the 50mm ones here or were they just US?

Seen a few of the 50mm used on the rear bumper as a trim - evens up the line of the sill through the rear bumper > looks quite nice.

Wheres the best place to look - new? or used?

New = GPC - in stock AFAIK

Used = you'll be lucky to find a good one but you could try the "Parts for sale" forum..

Why would you buy from the UK when you can buy it here in the states...in the good ol state of California?

You cannot get it at the VW dealer...it was never offered on the US spec cars.
