dinkus 10 Posted December 24, 2005 And back on the 288's now too eh? Make much difference? You'll piss yourself when he gives you the answer... I'm sure he did more than that the first time he braked hard and forgot he didn't have 312s any more... My tyres seem to be wearing considerably more now I've got 312s...hmm... Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 24, 2005 Chrishill, LOL, I'll tell the guy at work you salivated over his Porsche :-) That thing has shed loads of miles on it, daily driver and 100% reliable. Dinkus, 312s back to 288s.....erm, barely any difference at all mate, LOL!! :-) I'm sure the 312s are better for withstanding fade though but under normal driving, they feel bloody identical! _Monkey 0 Posted December 26, 2005 biggerbigben, superb work mate, (how much better does the c look with no wipers eh ) sooo much cleaner , shame it rains :-( Just noticed the lack of wipers, but why have you still got the washer jets? But still, love the car! :thumbleft:

_Monkey 0 Posted December 26, 2005 g60dave, i think the car was in transition at the point but it does look good without them Ahh, fair point! Yeah, looks sweet. Pitty it rains 360 days of the year in England!
biggerbigben 0 Posted December 26, 2005 GIXXERUK, g60dave, I wanted to try and keep the car standard looking (ish), thus why the washer jets etc are still present. I do have a set of mk4 washer jets but just didn't get around to doing that mod. Oh well, phase 2 will be a bit different with all smoothed body work and flared arches etc...
