Storm Warning 0 Posted March 1, 2006 I recently purchased the Reg N 57ORM for my N reg Storm  . Make me feel better by having a guess at what you think it is worth. I am wondering if I have made a mistake paying out for it...I just could resist it. Thanks.
Walesy 0 Posted March 1, 2006 Nice plate. Some people think that they are a waste of money, personally I like private plates. I would expect that plate to be worth a few quid as it also could be sold to a Norman ! £600?

AND7 F 0 Posted March 1, 2006 How about £400 + VAT + buyer's premium ?? Looks like a bargain to me compared to the other storm plates, esp as it has the latest possible year letter C 57ORM would be good too.. 57 ORM £4,000 Sold in Dec 2001 E57 ORM £550 Sold in Apr 2005 N57 ORM £400 Sold in Feb 2006 ORM 3S £1,300 Sold in May 2003 ORM 58Y £900 Sold in Dec 2005 S7 ORM £14,200 Sold in Jan 2002

Jim 2 Posted March 1, 2006 Some people think that they are a waste of money *raises hand* ;) I sort of see the point when it relates to the car I guess.. like on a VR having xxxx VRG on the plate makes sense, so I can see the point of this too. I'd go with the estimates of £2,000 though..
craigowl 0 Posted March 1, 2006 We've got COL 1 N in our town. What would that be worth? Personally, I'd be embarassed - too high profile for me.
VR6 South 0 Posted March 1, 2006 We've got COL 1 N in our town. What would that be worth? Personally, I'd be embarassed - too high profile for me. We've got ELV 1S living near us   I would say no more than £500.

Storm77 0 Posted March 1, 2006 I was looking for that one! Settled for this one instead for even more of a bargain price! Definitely worth having - the amount of comments I get from it
Storm Warning 0 Posted March 2, 2006 AND7 F, your a well informed. I think that considering the asking price for 57ORM is £19k at the moment that I paid a resonable price. It worked out at nearly £600 with all the fees. I think the only reason this plate became available was because I hasseled DVLA for it. I was after other pre-fixes too, C 57ORM, A 57ORM and so on but it would seem they may never be available. Well I may well be selling it in the not to distant future as I keep thinking about selling my Storm. Cheers.
AND7 F 0 Posted March 2, 2006 Definitely a bargain I'd hang on to it for as long as you can, in 10 years or so when mint Storms are proper classic cars it should be worth 4 or 5 times that
Storm Warning 0 Posted March 2, 2006 I probably should keep my Storm too...
