Bit of advice please ;)

 

The missus currently drives a 1.2 Clio Extreme, which I have to say is a great car!! Even if it is French :lol:

 

She wants a slightly bigger car, but no more than £4k. What you reckon? Im saying Golf Mk4, Audi A3, BMW Compact.

 

She WONT have a Corrado, after knowing what I spend on mine :lol: So dont go there!!

Seriousy, don't go for the Compact. like having a golf driver - not quite there is it.

 

I think A3's are nice. Less common than Golufs.

 

Go for a 1.8T and chip it to 230 first without telling her! :)

At the moment, that 1.2 is running a lot better than your 2.9 Will :lol:

 

Shes not too keen on the beemer anyway. A3 or Golf it is then.

 

Only problem with the A3 is that it costs a lot more than the Golf, for essentially the same car :censored:

You'd be surprised how quick she goes on SOME days mate ;)

 

Essentially the same but they do feel different mate.

 

Everything is 'tuned' different to make them feel like different cars. The gap is getting smaller and smaller but I have to say I'd rather be in the Proudy :)

I'd go for something bigger than an A3 or Golf. They are a sought after size of car, for the same money you could get a slightly bigger car with more features, Toledo, Bora, Octavia, Passat all spring to mind

How about that SA imported Golf MK1 that's on Autotrader? Other than that I'd go with an Octavia or a Passat.
