Finally the new Dub Project.... Another set of wheels!

Recommended Posts

Finally after selling the Corrado and then the Porker (needed my dub fix) I have found and bought my new project. Not another Rado I am afraid. :(

As with the Corrado it is my one and only car so is my daily as well as my project.

I am chuffed to bits with it and have some plans....:)

The car looks and drives like new, has totally original paint with not a parking dent in sight. 4WD is awesome and I am so glad I opted for the 4mo.

Watch this space..... B)

Going to focus on the exterior first. Wheels, ride height and a couple of body mods :)

Then the interior, got some ideas for that.

Then the engine ;)

Good to see you are back in business again.

Looking forward to seeing what happens to it as I missed out on all the build stages of the C.

fitted H&R springs, ARB's and bilsteins to my S3 and the cornering speeds are plain silly. 4x4 is the way. Looking forward to seeing this project unfold Jay.

Yeah I have ordered FK Silverline X coilover's for it which should help :)

As you say, the cornering speeds are scary! Best thing is off the line though ;)

Nice looking motor mate. Always wanted to take a V6 4Mo out for a spin and see what they feel like! Look forward to seeing to what you'll do to it..

Step one though - lose the god awful plastic wood effect trim ;)

Nope, no wheel spin at all, even in the pouring rain!

It will go Jim, but no point in changing it until I decide what I am doing.

I can't even spin the wheels at all in mine, even in the wet!

I've been in a 350-400bhp R32 turbo and you still struggle to spin the wheels! seriously!! Haldex is the only way forward!!!

Looking cool Jay ;-)

Well, just so you all know something is happening...

I have been collecting parts over the last few weeks.

Nothing has actually happened to the car yet (apart from a set of new HT leads) and driving it a lot. :) But I have a collection of nice shiny bits to start putting into place soon.

Currently in the spare room at home are...

The wheels, not saying what they are until they are all together, but I have new stainless outers for the rears.

The suspension - FK Silverline X Konisports, new top mounts, drop links etc..

The adaptors for the wheels....

In the garage is.....

Two different rear bumpers and a couple of other body parts.

and in my head..... are a lot of ideas :)

Jay
