How to avoid SPECS - just change lanes?!

Recommended Posts

sounds like it depends on how many sets of cameras they have at the start/end of the monitored sections and how many lanes there are, problem is you don't know which lanes are being monitored.

If they have two pairs of cameras and two lanes then I think it will still get you. If there's one set on a 3 lane motorway then swapping would probably get past it.

people slamming on and changing lanes without looking coz they want to avoid some points could be catastrophy

unless people are ready for them they might be able to do it!

but i still dont think too many people will be dodging the cameras

You could also just buy a motorcycle as, I believe, the SPECS system is forward-facing.

errr "lane hopping" is a bit strong a phrase for someone potentially changing lanes once within a couple of miles - i love the stupid angle the mail takes, on the motorway under normal driving conditions i change lanes a fair bit - i call it proper lane discipline.
