just looked at that... the car isnt to my taste but i think the idea of a side exit exhaust is really cool..

 

i would probably go for something similar but not have the tailpipe design like that... but something a bit more simple

Agreed, the neons are just nasty, maybe if they were white they would be acceptable. Maybe.

I like side exit exhaust's,but bear in mind its againt the law to have them exiting on the passanger side in the uk.

 

Get a knob of an MOT tester and he can fail it.

There is a member on here that has a side-exit exhaust on his VR6.the guy with the roof-strips removed and smoothed, think it was a burgundy-ish colour ?

When i looked into this for my last polo, the local mot tester said that it didn't matter what side it came out of just that it contained the right amount of silencers as the original exhaust.

 

But he may be wrong, got it done anyway!!!

Most testers wont know,but the exhaust fumes must not exit out of the passanger side towards the pavement.

surely you can just rig up a diverter of some sort and have a 'diesel style' exhuast out the back, so you can smooth off the rear bumper??!!??
