Phil K 0 Posted December 26, 2006 + £495 for the manual. They made Storm owners pay extra to find out how to use their C
davidwort 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Around £17,000 according to some articles I have Ah.. beaten to it  yeah, £16,995 was the list price I've seen in 1990, hardly surprising they didn't sell in the hundreds of thousands really then :)
vr6storm 0 Posted December 26, 2006 And VRs were about 22k or so? What about heated leather and air-con? when you chose leather you got the heated seats as part of the deal,so any UK-spec C with leather seats and no switches is normally a sign of them being retro-fitted

Foggystorm 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Price list ive got for my storm states £22,498.80 + £495 for the manual. Aircon fitted after this so not included. Goldie 2 Posted December 26, 2006 Think the G60 was the most expensive VW ever at the time weighing in at £19k ish.

Deluk 0 Posted December 28, 2006 just like golf gti cost lots in the 1990's
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 28, 2006 Price list ive got for my storm states £22,498.80 + £495 for the manual. Eh? + £495 extra for a manual gearbox? That can't be right. + £495 for an auto maybe, otherwise they'd have to charge normal VR6 owners another £495 for their manual gearboxes aswell. £23K..... just think what you could get for that now. Brand new MK5 GTI and change for a Corrado VR6 :-)
Jim 2 Posted December 28, 2006 I reckon prices being as they are (inflation and all that), that if a similar car was released today it'd cost between 25,000 -> 30,000 from VW.. I mean look at their flagship Golf R32's etc for price comparison...
Goldie 2 Posted December 28, 2006 No, i mean for a manual it was £22,498.80 + delivery charge of £495. For an automatic £23,398.95 + the delivery charge. Sorry Kev, bad wording.
