Your Best Ever?

Recommended Posts

After dropping the missus off at the airport this morning I was stuck behind lorrys all the way there and back, I managed to squeeze 37.6MPG reading out of the MFA in the VR.

I was quite chuffed with that especially with a shagged front wheel bearing and a buggered cam position sensor.

So what are your 'best' MFA figures ? (Oil temps for the G60s would be interesting)

No cheating with vacuum hose leaks either ;)

Got 44mpg in the G60 once. Lowest was 8mpg whilst stick in traffic. 120 degrees was the highest engine temp IIRC.

Not applicable on the VR as it uses injector duty cycle to calculate mpg ;-)

Mine's on 99.9mpg, which darn good......but only cause there's no ECU telling the MFA anything

Best mpg in my VR, totally standard was 36mpg. Worst mpg, i.e. currently, is about 12mpg.

Mine used to be rather poor but after picking it up from Midland VW yesterday i got 41 on the way down the A38, and an average of 37ish for the journey.

After usually seeing high 20's i was well chuffed
