junkie 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Ok so i have been on this forum for a couple of years and never actually got round to take the time to start my own thread on my wonderful Corrado. These are the pictures i have so far and how the car stands at the moment. Right then i have just quickly converted the Nm figure to torque, to show the actual torque figures as in my eyes it is a good torque curve but the graph makes it look short and peaky when its down to the torque peaking so high in the 1st place. As can be seen i have a minimum of 260lb/ft between 3000rpm > 6000rpm, now at 2500rpm its 166lb/ft which is the same as a G Lader peak torque and quite close to a pullied, chipped and flowed charger, and right on the limiter its still doing more than the previously mentioned set up. For the torque to double in 1000rpm between 2500rpm > 3500rpm as it comes on boost you can imagine the problems i have with traction in 1st and 2nd :) hence why i need longer gearing and quite possibly i may be trying the CTN as a cheap alternative to the VR6 set up, i think i have made my mind up. RPM = lb/ft 2500 = 166 3000 = 258 3500 = 317 4000 = 332 4500 = 339 5000 = 317 5500 = 291 6000 = 258 6500 = 239 On the 2 seperate graphs with red lines they are the same dyno run from my engine, just shows you how different they can look to the eye as in the 2nd graph it looks like it has more torque for longer compared to the 1st graph even though they are identical runs. So again Green line is torque, Black line is BHP So opinions please?

Sonicriot13 0 Posted July 26, 2007 That is looking sweet. The thing that caught my eye externally are your calipers. They seem to be one of those nice details that just set the car off. :thumbleft:
Yandards 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Who took the rolling shots? Very good indeed.
junkie 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Apart from the very top pic all the rest were taken at the Golf+ photoshoot, the top 2 moving shots i was going a full half a mile an hour  so anymore pics i get up will not be of the same quality. Just been looking at them and a few things have changed nothing too major though. so will update when i can find my damn cam lead to PC.

joneinar 0 Posted July 26, 2007 no I don`t have any older than that.. 3 years aprox... now I almost only buy pvw, it`s hard to get hold of golf+ where I live (norway)... seems like they suddenly would`t sell it any more here....

junkie 0 Posted August 9, 2007 I wish it still looked like that, 2 years ago now that was, worked out i need to spend around 40+ hours minimum to get it looking the same. Its not clear in my service book but is either LC6V/LC6U but the colour is called pearlescent green.

_leon_ 0 Posted August 9, 2007 whats the general paint condition like on it? mines not great - but then i'm in no rush - it'll get stone chipped etc quickly anyway due to the way/places i drive
junkie 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Personally i think its not great but i see it everyday, the usual 16 year old condition. But i have been told quite a few times that considering its 16 years old its in good condition.
