Okey... to bad ImageShack is a bunch of twats so alot of the images doesnt show anymore :(

But will update this thread again.

Got some rear MK4 calipers for 20quid at the local junkyard.

But these wasnt from a Golf... it was a Skoda Fabia ;)

Same same.. but same.

Going to get a coat of silver and then wait for the spring to come again.. so I can work on the car outside.

Now its raining and cold :(

Later on Im going to order the 288mm calipers.

Why you may ask?

Im going to change the discs and pad anyway and the calipers are just 50quid for both.

Sure I need hoses but thats doesnt matter. I just hope that I can get a better feel out of my brakes. Now its almost scary how bad they are, no initial bite :(

Great turnaround on the brakes there! Any more pictures of before and after?

Nha mate :(

Looked true my phone and I didnt have any more pictures.

The brakes was about 15years old and they looked like they where 30years old ;)

Just cleaned them with a wire brush on my drill and then a layer of etch primer, and then some Hammerit Smooth silver.

I also noticed that I didnt have the 38mm version I first thought... these are the 41mm version, so my seals I ordered are the wrong ones :p

Started cleaning it and looking at what need to be done.

The finish is going to be untouched because its a unmolested manifold!

I think it would look better without the cover. You should remove it and sell it to me!

HAHA! You can kiss my white pale butt ;)

Doing the last thing to the manifold.. going to get some vac hoses and hose clips.

But besides that.. Im going to install it and see whats what.

Other plans is OBD2 conversion later on, and get it running on E85.

Plans plans...

Any one that knows how to wire this thing? My manifold doesnt use the RPM regulator that older and Schrick manifolds uses...

If you can get +14V on ECU pin 48 @4000 rpm use that and ground. If not (or if you change to coilpack or OBD2) you will need an rpm controlled switch.
