poll250 0 Posted April 19, 2010 I know a good Porsche specialist in Wallingford Sean? unless that's where you've already taken it!
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted April 19, 2010 It was from a private dealer and has a "customer protect" warranty with a 2k limit on it per claim. Hopefully it will be ok! I've heard of that guy in Wallingford Poll, but I took it to AutoFarm at Weston on the Green. I work in Wallingford but these people are closer to where I am in Witney. They luckily (for me!!) have had a few cancellations due to the Ash in the Sky so could fit me in! Will hopefully get a phone call this avro to see what is what! Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted December 9, 2010 Well, Not been on here for a while! I'm looking to get rid of this, Need the space. She really is going this time! Currently stands with no dashboard and no electrics from the fuse board to the steering column. No Porsche seats or GTi Steering wheel but I have all of the original stuff ready to go back in for anyone wishing to stick her back together. Offers? I'm not going to be robbed as it has V1's, Cat Back Milltek, 312 conversion, 17 BBS RXII's (although the tyres have stood still for a while so could do with replacement) She has stood under a cover in the garage for a year so there is no moss growing all over her! WHo wants this!? Needs a battery and a trailer to take away!

bradvr6 0 Posted January 26, 2011 Ask away! Willing to help... I can get you some pin out diagrams from instrument clusters and you can work from there. The new clocks are showing a nats over 51k at the moment but I recorded the old mileage in my folder for when I get the right software to add the old mileage to the new. Kris, The steering wheel will physically fit on the old column but you need to fit slip rings so that the horn will work. Size wise, it is the same size as the old one give or take a few mm! The new wheel is awesome to drive with, the flat bottom gives a great feel! :norty: Hi Sean, Sorry to see you're getting shut of the rado. That dash conversion sure is the bollox! When you fitted the MK6 Wheel, what kind of slip ring did you use? Was it a custom job or did you use a MK6 slip ring as a direct replacement? I'm only asking as I've had one of these wheels in the garage for a while and never got round to fitting it. It's only because my OEM wheel has rotted into a mush of black goo! :D
