2.0 16v 136,000 miles, FSH, 12 months MOT 1 advisory (Handbrake) 6 months tax, 4 new tyres, loads of recent bits, everything works. £1,100.

Deposit paid to Mule Tamer off here and should be picking it up Tuesday night.

First thing will be a full wash, polish, wax and shampoo of interior. Then fit a head unit. I should aslo be getting a KR cam put in in in October along with drilling the airbox, smoothing it out and dropping in a K&N panel filter. Should give it a bit more zoom!

Very nice, they do look great in black. I would get some smoked side repeaters and change the wheels for something a bit smaller.

I was thinking clear side repeaters to match the front lights.

I quite like the wheels which is lucky as I can't afford to replace them until next year so they'll do the job for now :-)

welcome and Nice motor!

Change to the side repeaters to clear and stick some silver bulbs in....really tidy's up the side of the motor for no more than £10!

Very tidy, those calipers look the business, really contrast nicely with the body work.

Well just got back from picking it up and loooooooove it! Who needs a stereo the sound of those 16v's is music to my ears.

Going to quickly stuff down a pizza then I'm off to enlarge my Carbon Footprint just for the hell of it!

Pretty crap shots by my standards but I was more interested in driving it tonight.

That looks really nice, clean as a whistle. The wheels arent too bad, i think you just need bigger brakes to fill them out a bit.

Love em in black, very knightrider-esque :notworthy:

I now see why you guys all love these things so much. I've been grining from ear to ear since I picked it up and the drive to work this morning was just brilliant. I'm now sat at my desk wishing I could admire it out of the window.

I'm now a full on Rado convert and apart from the camper it's the best Dub I have ever had. Roll on Eurofest at Castle Combe to see what it's like out on track!

Well less than 24hrs in and something has broken, at least it's only the spoiler.

Seems their reputation for being a bit full of gremlins is true!

Loooks very nice mate............but please please please DONT put any of those awfull crystal rear lamps or side repeaters on it!! wheels, suspension, exhaust, few engine mods, is ALL a corrado needs, its class is in how its external appearance looks from the factory, why bastardise it?

Don't worry that's not really my style. I'm going to put clear side repeaters on becuase that'll match the fronts but rear lights and everything else will remain standard.

I need to change the rims for something else at somepoint but luckily I don't find the current ones at all offensive so they can stay till I find some suitable replacements and the cash to change them.

This whole car will be maintained and modded on an uber tight budget as I have little to no spare cash each month.

A couple of observations from my first 36 hours of Rado ownership.

1)Other drivers on the road. Whilst the majority go about their daily business I do got the odd quizzical look from folks who either don’t know what it is or haven’t seen one in a while. As for dubbers I’m getting far more thumbs up and waves than I ever did in the golfs or the passat.

2)My Co-Workers. Had lots of comments from folks I work with ranging from “What is it?”, “Cool Corrado” and “How can you afford a Porsche?”. The main theme running through all of them is they think it must have cost loads of money and they stare in disbelief when I tell them I paid £1100 for it.

3)Living with it. God damn it’s thirsty, yet to see over 30mpg on the MFA although I think it’s under reading a bit. I’m going to get the timing and fuelling check at my local VAG specialist in the near future. Of all the dubs I’ve had though it’s the nicest drive and the best handling. It’ll happily potter along and be comfortable and quite but when you drop your right foot it howls like a banshee and stiffens up to become a brilliant B road blaster.
