chrishill 0 Posted December 23, 2003 While i was driving home last night i started thinking about some of the good points of winter driving. Most noticable is the abundance of very cold air, my C was going like a train! downside to this is that because of the crappy weather you cant take full advantage of it without ending up in a hedge! other pro's i thought of included office carpark 'drifting' in the snow, which i was doing yesterday. Again this has a downside, namly heading towards the boss's jag sideways with no way of stopping
dazzyvr6 0 Posted December 23, 2003 no pros really, just cant get any grip in 1st and second and on some roads 3rd gears

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 23, 2003 The main pro is old biddies and timid drivers are too scared to drive during winter, meaning more room on the roads for me  K

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 23, 2003 Pro's: the overheating of VR has greatly reduced :) Or undercooling if you've got a mocal cooler :? My oil rarely gets above 90 in this weather.....think I might get the old Bacofoil out and block the cooler. K
DEL VR6 0 Posted December 23, 2003 Pros: Its a Corrado and all the other cars are boring. (Apart from older classic 911's) Heaters are wonderful. Its a Corrado. If you get wheelspin on an icy road, the ROAR from the induction kit is great. Cons: No grip in 1st 2nd & 3rd. You have to tip-toe around roundabouts, (unless you wanna go sideways that is) Momo steering wheel is freezing, and too cold to touch. It looks so dirty all the time. Still wouldnt swap for it most of the boring / crappy cars that are around on the roads today.
