Supercharged 2 Posted March 22, 2005 You should have a black and a grey or white connector (2x2) You just need to buy a converter lead, usually about £

RW1 0 Posted April 13, 2005 A single black wire means your Corrado early non digital diagnostics. Therefore it uses voltage pulses ("blink codes") to show singularly the 4 digit fault codes. VAG-COM will not work with it. The Bentley manual covers this in full detail. "If the two diagnostics sockets (Black/White) have either 1, 2 or 3 wires only attached, then the car is analogue and VAG-COM cannot interface with them. These cars use "blink" codes (grouped voltage pulses) in a primative way to throw out the faults out, one at a time. aclwalker 3 Posted April 19, 2005 I've got the KEY-COM version official cable and full software and am willing to help people in the Glasgow area. I don't have a 2x2 adapter unfortunately, so can't do the earlier cars. Mine is 1994 and has the 16 pin new-style connector. I try to check the forum regularly but can't guarantee to be on every day.
