ABS Brake pedal position sensor - DG Refurb service

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We can now offer these as a refurbished part (due to VW making them obsolete) they are fully tested and come with a 12 month guarantee.

Send us your sensor and we will repair it and pop it back in the post to you the same day.

Refurb price is £49.95 inc vat and postage.

Thanks

DG Autotech

I can vouch for this as the guinea pig for the refurbished part: so far, brill. ABS light now goes out and stays out as should do!

Well done Dave and Graham, another excellent DG service! :notworthy:

Brilliant job.

Now if we can only find the supplier that makes the underbonnet foam 'waffle' pattern sheets so I can replace the stuff on my early cars..

Funnily enough it measures the position of the brake pedal...which tells the abs system how hard your braking.

If your popping in on saturday we can scan the codes for you FOC

I reckon this could be my ABS problem. Might have to bring the original rather than the VRT, my light stays on on first start then after about 20 mins if I then restart the car the light will go out and stay out :cuckoo:

I reckon I was car no.2. On having a shake down run following the chains and tensioners work the ABS light came on and it was traced to a brake pedal sensor issue. Hence I've been told they fixed this.

Hopefully I will find out this Saturday when I pick the car up.

D or G, can you drive the car without the sensor in situ? I guess so and the light will just stay on right?

i dont think you can as all vacume will be lost in the servo, and you have no brakes, some one to confirm this, i havent tried it, but there is a seal on the sensor/servo ,to prevent vacume loss.
