Majik 0 Posted July 20, 2010 .....A Fiat Multipla! I was looking a buying a van for shifting some stuff about over a few months, but i saw a Fiat Multipla for sale and unfortunately bought it! Its the most hideous thing i've even seen and when you normally park up the Corrado and look back at it thinking 'looking good' i turned around and though 'Damn you are ugly'! Anyone had any experiences of these cars engine seems ok it a JTD.

OllieVR6 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Are they super cheap second hand because they are so ugly they don't hold their value?
Majik 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Ugly is an understatement! £900 for an 02 plate with 100k and some history aint a bad price, i was after a Mercedes Vito but couldnt find anything decent.
Alex_G60_Fanatic 0 Posted July 20, 2010 its a funny old car, it got great reviews for economy and creature comforts, and the central seat is handy. If your wanting to shift stuff though i really would have gone with that Van!!! lol What on earth made you opt for it in the first place? :confused4:

Majik 0 Posted July 20, 2010 I thought with this one it would have the option of having seats if my friends fancied going for a road trip and its got a quite a bit of space once rear seats are folded forwards/removed and its got air con which alot of vans dont. My brother had a Fiat Ducatto Van some time ago which was quite frugal so i thought i'd give it a try.

Alex_G60_Fanatic 0 Posted July 20, 2010 are you sure your friends want to be seen in that though??? Indeed, nothing shouts "granny wagan" like a Fiat Multipla :camp:

Skyway 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Think you've got the right idea as long as it's only for a few months. I did the same a few years back when I refused to keep paying for skips whilst I was renovating my house, so I went out a paid £500 for an old V8 Range Rover. It was dire to say the least and couldn't wait to leave it at the tip on my last journey there but out of the blue a friend offered me £800 for it just as it was about to die .... apparently V8 manuals are hard to come by.... CHING CHING. Did the job I wanted it for then passed it on... when you need things shifted size does matter. Would suggest a cover for it whilst it's parked outside the house though.... Fix it at Tony's next to a C..... mmmmmmmmmm

Philuk 0 Posted July 20, 2010 they look like a pool of vomit! BUT from your point i can see the reason for it.. altho one of these may be required in order to retain any self esteem!
craigowl 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Multipla got good reviews. Very practical. Good on yer, Norse chum! If you are cool and happy with yourself, image through a car is only for maggot willies and those having low self-esteem. We had a Reliant van and a Citroen Dyane when we were in our twenties. They were the most logical economic and functional answers at the time. To hell with what people might think-------------------------------------------------- it is butt ugly, though!
