TLC-G60 0 Posted August 24, 2010 I'd swap it for a Camero. But I will be swapping it for an A4 avant next year.

Alex_G60_Fanatic 0 Posted August 24, 2010 If money wasn't a question then i would get a company to make me a hand copy of the corrado concept made by Patrick Moczarsky, from "Miranda Media". maybe with a sirroco running gear and modern engine from the Scirocco GT24 But one thing is for sure... i wouldn't SWAP my Corrado for any money! bananawhip 0 Posted August 24, 2010 Apart from the ugly front end, I really like Boras. They handle so much better than the Golf. 343mm brakes, nice. You can never have too much braking power Thanks Kev, yeah it feels a fair bit stiffer then R32 Golf's I've driven, very happy with it, do get some funny looks when I'm chucking it about though, think most people think I'm a Vicar late for a service or something. Your right about the front end, a bit like Marmite, that's why I put on the rediculous brakes to draw attention away from it :)
corradog60stage4 0 Posted August 24, 2010 the new scirocco seems to tickle my fancy, I was first a scirocco driver before going the corrado route, now need to find my roots back. :D
Purgatori 1 Posted August 24, 2010 I would never ever ever ever swap my Rado for anything, but if I came into a bit of money, once I'd spent most of it on her, I may get an Astra VXR for a daily driver. Although if I were a Sheik / money no object I would get me a Morgan Eva GT!!!! :luvlove:EVA.jpg[/attachment:2zrk8z2g]

jackflash 0 Posted August 26, 2010 This: Hey! Hubby has an S2, but in volcanic black, or volcano black or something... Yeah they're a bit of an overlooked classic, a lot of people don't even know Audi made S2s, all they've heard of is the RS2. They were like a proto-Impreza/Evo in my mind, 2.2l Turbo, 4wd etc. I'm not sure who owns that silver one in my pic (it was at GTI Spring Fest Santa Pod when I took that photo) but I know I've seen it in a photo in one of the mags parked outside DG Autotech. Great looking motor...

Great looking motor... Overlooked, not half! Ben had all sorts of trouble trying to insure the damn thing, because the girl on the phones didn't know what one was and couldn't find it on the system! 'Is that the S3?' 'No, it's an S2.' 'You sure it's not an S3?' 'Uh, yeah!' :brickwall: Mind you not as bad as an industry professional - VAG specialist - who thought it was an S-line A2!!! :epicfail:

'No, an older one with the original quattro engine' 'Oh you want one of those 80s ones' :epicfail:

coullstar 0 Posted August 27, 2010 This: Been thinking about one of them as well. Love the engine and they dont have as much issues as the old coupe with getting body bits etc. In fact Im of to Pistonheads right now to see whats out there. That one looks great, silver is quite rare. There was one for sale near me last year and he was looking for a swap with a corrado. Almost chopped the green one for it. Almost chopped the green one for it. Mmm its still for sale. Wonder how big the boot is and I can get a towbar on it? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1968027.htm or this maybe instead of the Golf http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1910854.htm

Ben used to have a Quattro Coupe (I think, the one with the 2.2L in-line 5), which sounded amazing and was a wonderful car, I think that's why he went for the S2 now actually, cos it's like an updated version :) The S2 is a gorgeous car though, very nice. Not as rumbly as the old Audi and doesn't rock when you rev it at the lights but still, if I didn't have a Corrado I might be tempted

I don't know actual figures sorry, but hope that's of some help. :)

Almost contacted the guy with the red one because he wants to px for a 'Corrado Storm' and I saw his motor down at Retro Show, looked pretty good. Wants top money though and it's got a cloth interior and is an estate. Like you I'd prefer a silver one and a coupe if possible, so had also been looking at the other one in your link. Interstellar mileage though!
