Normal 12v sump...

attachment.php?attachmentid=49394&d=1317242615

Main benefits over normal 12V sump

- Aluminium

- Baffled to stop oil starvation on high speed cornering

- Earlier version, so no hole for oil level sensor

- Not shallow like the 3.2 VR6. So no new oil pump required.

RRP Including VAT: £122.86

You can put me down for this but will be looking elsewhere in the mean time, if I get what I want before obviously I'll be off the list!

Cars higher than in pics now, still managed to crack my R32 slimline sump yday though. Probably a stupid question but this will fit a Bora 4 Motion engine right?

It will and to answer the gasket question, there isn't one! Some folk use bathroom sealant (seriously) but I'd recommed the proper VAG sealant.

LOL, in case you aren't joking, I would seriously advise against it! I would only use the VAG stuff - p/n D 176 404 A2

Dry sump? Is that like a dry hump, for cars?

Mate, if you could come up with a budget DS system that's easy to install, I'd be all over that :D

Aluminum construction. I believe the hole is a clasping point for engine support when removing etc.
