Pull handles are the hard to find metal ones, had the trims “plastic chromed”, and finished off with covering the handles in leather,
The “chromer” operated two miles from me, sadly he shut up shop and moved away .

Looks great. Are the handles genuine VW ones? I had a mk3 golf 16v years ago and found that VW did chrome ones for the convertible, so swapped them. They do feel better than plastic

I got them from Germany years ago, it does sound plausible that they could have come from a convertible!

I saw some plastic chrome trims on eBay, but never could find wher3 they came from, that’s why I had some chromed

I do love the look of leather and how easy it is to clean. I put some in my mk3 16v GTi years ago.

Then hated cold mornings and hot days...

They do finish a Corrado off nicely, especially when wired in and warm👌

That looks a great piece of kit. Does it have a hole in the end to fit the original rubber?

Great postage time too 👍

M25 Saturday morning, cars in front stopped quickly, I stopped, car behind didn’t, hit me with such force, pushed into car in front, creased my roof, buckled the floor, and snapped the drivers door hingede4bf3cac07d03cb26ad703ef02d3de3.jpg

Ironically I’m good, bit of whiplash, car front and back both sustained injuries from their airbags going off,
It’s not rebuildable this time,

Hopefully the insurance process will be smooth. You never know how good they are until this sort of thing happens.

Now you've had a few days to get your head round what happened,  what are your Corrado plans now?

This is extremely sad to see,  you've had it so long and all that work gone.

Glad you're alright though, the Corrado looked after you. At least it got to the big 300 before it happened.
