20vtvw 0 Posted February 8, 2015 Rear beam ,tank straps and full floor will be restored to former glory once I'm happy with how it runs. Just a pic of how it's sitting today,,garage is on the go slow as I'm so busy with work and family at the moment and the fact it's been to cold for the concrete .. 20vtvw 0 Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Well got the concrete down for my garage yesterday ,to get the concrete to the top of the drive I had to take my rado round the back of the house ,,gave me a chance to drive it abit, went really well although my speedo isn't working????any ideas?rest of clocks work fine,. I also didn't like the sound of the screamer pipe so that's going to be fed back into the exhaust. Once it's in the garage I'm going to go over it all before taking it for the mot as I've sold my e36 daily so the corrado will be my daily again, still have a nice e91 m sport Beemer for family dutys. I've also got a full mk4 golf anni rear beam with 256mm vented brakes so I'm going to do abit of cutting and welding to get mk4 stub axles mounted on my spare vr rear beam so I can run the larger vented brakes.i know there not needed but I have all the bits so why not? Plus they'll look great behind the zw1s. Edited February 19, 2015 by 20vtvw

20vtvw 0 Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) Small amount of work done but it's now sat outside so I can work on the garage, but with all that space I couldn't stop myself doing some prep ..all the subframe, wishbones, hubs are stripped ready for powdercoating, got some new bushes and ball joints ready for the rebuild.. Also with the engine stripped I started painting it..but I'm not sure on the colour now I've started, What's your thoughts..plan was to have red block and gearbox with dark burgundy pearl rocker cover ,inlet and boost pipes.. 20vtvw 0 Posted May 2, 2015 The red isn't as bright as it looks in the pics .
sexybourbon 0 Posted May 2, 2015 I like the red but i dont think the dbp inlet and pipes will go id rather see them black but that just my opinion
20vtvw 0 Posted May 2, 2015 Ye I had the same thought might add them to the powdercoat list.
20vtvw 0 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Couldn't live with the red so have gone gloss black, ancilerys will be sprayed satin black with dbp racked, inlet and boost pipes.. Edited May 4, 2015 by 20vtvw
