Jim 2 Posted February 6, 2013 There's a trailer up on YouTube that lists them... still no Corrado :(
Wullie 1 Posted February 6, 2013 On January 10th Mike Brewer confirmed that series 10 of Wheeler Dealers would start on February 19th 2013 at 9PM in the UK.[3] Cars for series 10 will include 1956 Volkswagen Beetle, Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Ford Escort Mk1, 1962 Cadillac Series 62, 1995 Aston Martin DB7 and 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray From Wikipedia. Interested in the Stingray episode as I was restoring one when I was in Canada. Found it at a farm sale in backwoods Ontario and purchased it for $200 Canadian. Billzeebub 1 Posted February 6, 2013 I love Wheeler Dealers, have been anticipating an episode where they refurbish a Corrado since I first started watching it. However, I do think there is a certain amount of be careful what you wish for!..that if they did feature our car then we may potentially be disappointed with the reality of what they find and subsequently do to it. We all know the cost of these cars and the Wheeler Dealer ethos/budget may not produce something those in the know would be happy with as an example of the breed. Portent 0 Posted February 6, 2013 Wheeler Dealers will do a Corrado when they go up in value... ie never :D
Jim 2 Posted February 6, 2013 I know Mike Brewer lives pretty near to where I do (5-10 miles) - often thought of asking if he wanted to buy my VR to do up in an episode!
OllieVR6 0 Posted February 6, 2013 I bet most cars that get featured temporarily go up in value too! Every time I see a car they do with a good turn around I hop online to see what they cost. Now I think about it, I bet the prices are inflated when I check.
James. 9 Posted February 6, 2013 Ashes to Ashes and the balloon in Quattro prices is a perfect example.

Dox 23 Posted February 20, 2013 Aston DB7 with OZ Saturn+ alloys, looked cheap and wrong, they said so themselves, then Mike had the powder coated shadow chrome silver............ Oil pipes leaking and corroded, replaced including the cooler due to thread damage. Both exhaust manis cracked and replaced. Water ingress, door seals adjusted. New bling front grill fitted. I can't help thinking an XK8 could be bought for less than half the 12.5K 007 jokes worn me down TBH Not on youtube yet
dragon green 5 Posted February 20, 2013 For a car like an Aston,a lot of trivial things wrong with it!
Jim 2 Posted February 20, 2013 Hand built british car from the 90's? I dunno.. sounds about right to be honest! :)
Michael'durham' 10 Posted February 20, 2013 For a car like an Aston,a lot of trivial things wrong with it! Hahaha. Love this comment, I worked for Jaguar and Aston and those cars had issues from the factory, customers would go ape after buying new and workshop just couldn't rectify the faults. DB7 Nic Name was :new shape for Ford Capri....
seanl82 23 Posted February 22, 2013 I recorded it and watched it earlier. I don't know why but I was a little disappointed. I suppose as mentioned above that everything now seems a little trivial. The same problems on every car so its just getting a little boring I suppose. Not a very good profit made either considering...........
Pete 0 Posted February 23, 2013 They are doing an S2 Elise as well, they have been on SELOC asking for a mint car to film the back to back bit. They also sniffed around VX220.org but I dont think they could get one cheap enough.

Incredible, Who would have thought that 25 years ago when they were worth £300 ? £12K is cheap for a MK1, some were asking £60K at the NEC in November. I was at a classic auction in Buxton yesterday, a Mini Cooper made £26K plus 12% commision and VAT, a similar aged Rolls struggled to make £5K Prices made will be on their website sometime today http://www.classic-auctions.com/auctions/forthcoming.aspx

corrado_sunderland 0 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) Im sorry but you could pay to have one restored for less that these wallys are selling them, you can take the engine out one in an hour and everything is simple as hell so to find a shell have it shot blasted, welded and powder coated is 5k then say the car cost 5k, plus 10k on interior etc....im not feeling 40k plus, when we had our garage my dad worked on hundreds of these and he couldnt stop laughing at how much people are charging as there just isnt much work in restoring one. Jim 2 Posted March 14, 2013 Did anyone see the episode the other night where he got the Boxster S for £1,000?! Had a tiptronic gearbox fault which was resolved with a gearbox oil and filter change and then was pretty much good to go. Mental.
