what colour

Recommended Posts

looking at dyeing the koenigs i bought off clumpy a few weeks back

as i have black doorcards and carpets, think the cream seats are a bit too much

remember seeing a mk3 in performance vw which had the seats trimmed in baseball mitt (think that was the colour) but after much searching cannot find any pics

has anyone on here got brown seats fitted

also was thinking of dyeing the triangle above the front armrest the same colour as seats, has anyone done this

love the seats so was looking for inspiration before i went for it

need as much input as possible, cheers

I guess budget is key, won't be cheap though!

personally I would keep them cream and alter the cabin trim to suit. The lad that bought Herisites' old car did a splendid job of that - I didn't think it would look as good as it does. He put some dark faux suede on the pillar trims etc. and has a dark carpet which I think really sets them off.

Can't remember his name, though I'm sure someone will update accordingly.

seen that, my a,b and c pillars are leather covered

reason is my 10 year old daughter when asked if she liked my new interior replied love the seats but the colour is a bit " old mannish " and doesn't go with your seriously cool car

I liked your baseball glove colour personally.... Except you'd need to do something with the doorcards as well though.

I think your car colour restricts you a bit in terms of what will work.. Personally I love the beige and think it works well with green.

A chocolaty brown could look cool though, but defo old manish!

Yes, or a darker shade to match the paint.

There used to be a Lhasa green mk1 with matching leather, I can't find a pic - green mk3 colour concept was rank!
