Had what i think is a nice photo taken of the car (ignore the blurry version of me in the back ground) with the ride height now sorted.

The numbers have faded this year must be all this sunshine :)

Don't know what to go for tbh, pressed steel or just some normal plastic ones.

Had a few issues with the head lights last week the high beam was blowing the fuse in the uprated wiring loom strange really, sorted now.

Also the old problem of the heater speed only running on number 4 speed. Fixed this as well 99p fix, new thermal fuse, job done.

Just thought I'd do an update, the heater blower still playing up new fuse blew again the heater is getting noisy so i took advantage of an Halloween promotion at Euro car parts so got a Vemo replacment unit for £31. I few members have replaced theirs with this unit so hopeful it will be ok.

I fitted the new heater blower, seems ok up to now. The motor is as quiet as the old one tbh and all the speeds are good. I must admit that i bought the new motor to find that the resistor is not included (what was i thinking, for that price? :bonk:) so had to solder a new thermal fuse in the old unit, so all 4 speeds are now back.

Been a while, thought it was time for an update.

Got my new plates on the car some nice pressed steel ones which look 100% better than the old ones I'm sure they were the originals not sure.

Had the factory immobilizer removed it was a total pain in the butt, car not starting at 5 am not good. Had the Con-log standard alarm ripped out, after failed repair of really worn out key fob and lots of other faults.

Purchased a new alarm, the car is now ready for it to be fitted when my electrician is available.

Here's a few up to date pics.

Looks fantastic.

I also removed alarm before it left me stuck.... Feels old skool having to use the key in the door to lock the car

Yes, Geeba exhaust is Magnex, SS i had the rear suitcase back box removed so its a much deeper sound. Also have lost atleast half a ton in weight with it removed.:thumb right::cool:

Hi Jim, yes it does feel old school locking the car with the key very old fashioned.

The new alarm has all the mod cons on it so will be going back to modern soon.
