stuarttaylor37 13 Posted September 7, 2014 Do dealers sell rattle can sizes then?
16VG60 1 Posted September 7, 2014 Yes, I recently purchased 6 cans for my Corrado of Inca Blue. To help you get what you require it's best to order with your paint code. Both TPS and Dealer should be able to find this against your reg / Chassis no.
clumpy1 11 Posted September 7, 2014 Your local paint supply shop should be able to mix you up one. I got one made up and it is excellent match (for grille)
seanl82 23 Posted September 7, 2014 The dealer supplied paint usually comes in a twin pack of base and lacquer. They're only 150ml each though iirc and not particularly cheap.

VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted September 7, 2014 some bodyshops can scan your vehicles paint and then mix that up in aerosol for you...
Stone0311 0 Posted September 7, 2014 Recently got some from this place, looks pukka - not too expensive either. http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/
MarkFoster 0 Posted September 7, 2014 I've always used VW/TPS paint up until recently, and Sean's right it does come it little cans with some lacquer, at a rather strong price. Then I found my local automotive paint specialist who can mix whatever you want (as long as you've got the paint code) and voila; correctly pressurised cans with the right colour in a useful size and at a sensible price. Who would have thought it in rip-off Britain! Go seek out your friendly local specialist my friend.....

emu 0 Posted September 8, 2014 Last time I needed one I went on ebay. Found the cheapest one and sent them a paint code. Everything was 100% perfect. 400ml spray can for around £12-£15 delivered to my home.
