Corrado display @ 2016 VW festival

Recommended Posts

I had a funny / you might say senior moment on the way home yesterday,

Cruising nicely down the M1 I noticed my oil temp was higher than normal at 110 though water was fine and normal .

Kept going and the temp kept climbing slowly until it got to 115. Started backing off the speed down to 60mph and then 50mph , oil temp still climbing .

Worried now and got ready to pull over to have a look under the bonnet,

Then realised I was looking at distance travelled !! :epicfail:

I blame the lack of sleep :)

Awesome weekend! Always good to see everyone and meet new people. For me the camping is half the fun, so it was good to have such a nice bunch to hang out for the whole weekend.

Have to say a big personal thanks to Chris (fuzzy) and Wendy for looking after me when I pretty much turned up with a tent, a bed and nothing else. And everyone else (Chris, Matt, Ben etc) who was extremely generous in throwing an extra burger/Rasher on the BBQ for me. Very much appreciated :notworthy:

Some great pics there, I'll have a hunt through mine later to see what I got and I'll put a selection up on here.

Not a problem mate

Always such a laugh and you are so correct with the camping

Looking forward to next already

Hi Guys.

Deffo going for a long drive up next year ,unable to make it this year due to a rotting bottom arch repair.

I have to be up there as I need to make a statement for the Nugget Corrado.

Could not see one in the pics so think I could have added nicely to what was already a stunning collection.

If someone can give me the heads up when to book with a p.m that would be much appreach.

Not one Nugget all weekend. So it'd be great to see it next year!!

Join the CCGB for the full event calendar for the year. Well worth the £15 http://www.corradoclubgb.co.uk with regional and national meets.

I attended on the Sunday was a good day, counted around 30 Corrado's, even pushed a poorly G60 onto the display with a broken cv joint. Was nice to see so many good examples of cars all in one place. :thumbleft:

Super Weekend chaps.

Nice to see so many Corrado's - largest in a few years.

Shame we did not make the 80 odd that were booked and that I left the hot sunny weather at home.

The company and camping did make up for it though.

I did feel rough for most of Sunday mind -I think it might have been the Sloe Gin !! Thanks Fuzz.

Darren (Harrier) - that was a good one - sort of thing I would do - but never admit !!

MicVR - You are Head Chef next time !!!

Southerner88- such an embarrassment to us all !!!!! (Not !! - Great fun!)

What next ?? !!

Wendy, it would be my pleasure!

I didn't half feel rough Sunday as well.... I definitely wasn't on my game so if anyone did speak to me Sunday and didn't get my usual sparkling conversation and outstanding wit, I apologise.

Haha, I'm not surprised Mic! You and Chris hitting the beer on a lunchtime is a recipe for disaster!
