Sorry thats what I meant your mates car looks better.  I bet a minority of these low mileage cars have had the clocks fiddled before each mot- all sorts of crooks out there.

FOR SALE! I’ll just start by saying how gorgeous the car is and it’s been mental turmoil to decide to ‘sell’ or ‘store and keep’. I doubt I’ll find another like it! The car has been accepted on Collecting Cars auctions; so, as they want professional photos doing which will be in about 10 days I’m offering the car up for sale on the owners club first. 1995 Audi S2 coupe quattro turbo ABY 79,000 miles! Rare and immaculate Amethyst Pearl paint with immaculate black leather interior. The car is showroom condition. Engine is completely standard. Only 2 previous owners! and they were husband and wife with documents to prove. Recent major service with belts and water pump too. Went to Audi Sheffield (and they loved it) prior to service it had a full health check and the only mention was rear brake hoses were ready for changing. So I changed them all, front and rear, for braided lines with stainless fittings. I also upgraded the front brakes to a fully rebuilt set of Porsche 4 pot brembos. I sourced a set of 18inch Avus and had them dip stripped ard re-coated to match the Audi centre caps. So all new brakes, wheels and tyres. The car drives like a new car, it’s smooth, quiet and feels very tight and direct. It is amazing inside and out (even smells new). I’m happy to speak to genuinely interested buyers over the next week or so and if it’s paid for/collected, I won’t put it in the auction. I’ll let it go for the agreed reserve we have of £22,000. This car is a real investment! I’m happy to arrange delivery at your cost. I’ve done the video myself so don’t take the pi$$ 😁

Works for me

Yeah that looks a good one- I wonder what colour that is its and if it has the same paint code as a Corrado - it looks like dusty mauve . These have doubled in the last 18 months in price - I believe the parts to be extremely expensive, One cool feature you could get on them was rear pop out windows like happich but they were electric.

They are nice cars - one thing I always found with the later T89 Audi 80/90 style cars compared to the earlier T85 was the pedal box, with the clutch and brake sitting very close together, so I never really liked driving them as much as the earlier ones where I didn't have any issues - noticed this years later on an A3 as well. Could be just personal preference and the fact that I often wear boots.

They dont build them like this anymore 276 k miles on original engine. Nice rare body kit to and some fittipaldi. cool motor in my eyes. I know the kits sell for 1.2 k alone

Anyone know what that weird switch/light thing is between the electric window switches, in the panel below the diff lock control? Frost/temperature warning? I've never seen one before and there wasn't one on my 87 CQ, although everything else looks familiar and original.

Possible - but with the diff locks engaged the ABS is turned off anyway - do they get much snow in Cyprus?

Think I would rather have a helicopter at that price.

The Audi S2 above didnt reach reserve at auction - got to 16k so I would say that's what a good S2 is worth these days = although Im sure they will double in the next few years ,

Mad money - I guess because it's a SWB rally build/replica. I wonder is it an actual rally car with race history or a SWB conversion where they do cut and shut from a standard car, or from a coupe and use an Audi 80 windscreen to get the rake right? Used to be a popular conversion.

Geri trust me there are more  - he has 3 or 4 964 RS alone - video below chap with the whole collection. I just think there are that many they are splitting the cars in lots. I Imagine Leonard was the creator of carboard roll in  toilet paper or something like that- or maybe a divorcee solicitor.

Shit me the 964 RS in marine blue is all ready up to 180 k with 5 days left- I remember when these were 30k and im sure even less and folks purchased them for track days.

The 997 GT RS is doing really well as well 305k - the 997 R the one with the retro interior just daft monet.

The GT on 735 k - wow - Porsche are and always will be the best mainstream manufacturer investment in the car industry .
