Fit new windscreen seal

Fit new drivers door seal

Get C back from the bodyshop then in no particular order

Fit new rear shocks, springs, axle bushes, disks, pads and misc bolts

Change oil & filter

Change coolant

Change brake fluid

Change fuel filter

Change air filter

Change spark plugs

Change serpentine belt & fix tensioner pulley

Change tyres

Replace misc temp sensors

Fit modded rear Lupo wiper

Fit uprated headlight loom & bulbs

Clean the damn thing inside and out!

I think that's about it for now, but at some point in the more distant future I also need to...

Fix sunroof

Fix sloppy steering (could be a number of things :( )

Get some decent music in there (not sure what that's going to entail yet)

But on the plus side, so far I have done...

Fit Lupo wiper arms

Replaced front top mounts and disks & pads

So I guess it's not allllll bad. :(

Hi guys,

I'm sure some of you can help me with this. I promise i have searched for ages.

I'm looking for the thread that detailed all the stuff to do on a corrado when you first got it - i think it was Henny who wrote it and it was a really comprehensive list of all the componants to check and/or replace.

It would really help, i need to start pre-empting faults on the C coz work thinks i'm a right hypocondriac, i've already had 3 "doctors appointments", 2 "dentist", 3 "eye checks" etc etc etc lol!

humm... looks like my post in here is a touch out of date too... :|

New car needs:

new uprated brakes all around inc. DOT 5.1, brembo fronts, MKIV rears and braded flexies...

dash light modding

engine and gearbox swapping over from J-DUB

spacers making up to fit new wheels over new brakes

new suspension bushes

new front wishbones

possibly new coil-overs...

Mild paintwork sorting...

Erm, god knows what else, that's kinda all the mechanicals changed again isn't it?!? :|

Oh, and then J-DUB needs:

New front NS wing

New front bumper

Rear NS wing repainting

New front suspension and subframes

New steering components

New engine, gearbox, mounts and anything else the new engine requires to get it to fit and work... suppose I'd better work out what engine I'm gonna put in there first though!

Both nearside Tyres need replacing

Replace brake pipes

Replace Coolant hoses

Exhaust centre box removed and welded

New rear shocks and Bump stops

Sort out the Heater Fan

P.A.S fluid change

Brake fluid Change

Once this is done, get her MOT'd and then decide if i am keeping or on the look out for a VR6

If I decide to keep the list goes on..... respray/de-rust, boot build ect ect

I think the VR option is looking likely.
