Hi i found a 944 intercooler for a good price of around £100,which will go in front of my RS4 bumper,how good is the 944 core for a G60 and if anyone got any pics of them fitted on a C would be great. For a custom IC of dimensions 600mm length byt 200mm height and 70mm thicknes i was quoted about £320 but what i was worried was that the core that they will use wont be tested on teh G60 before hand so i dont know how well it will perform. Also if any1 knows does the 944 IC loose any great pressure? thanks in advance :D

The front lights definatley Dont suit the Corrado.

stick some r34 skyline front lights,they kinda square shaped which will go well with the C lines 8)

i get this sometimes but of course having superspor coilovers doset really help as they are pretty hard :x but overall i like them but the rattling is there sometimes

why dont you go turbo, G laders are harder to get and in a few years they will run out but again if you hate lag G60 is good. Than again vw engines arent the best engines to fit a turbo because the position to where the turbo is isnt very favouring and it gets really hot back there 8) . Just get a 20vt transplant or find a cheap 16v engine and start doing the work to it bit by bit if you have time of course and you dont mind getting greassy

well i tried to do it on my rear window and i got lots of bubbles,its not easy because its a large area and its not straight,it curves and you will get creasing lines,i think they use a hair dryer to avoid this,the rear quarter side windows are easy as htey small but the rear one is hard,i ended up scraping the whole thing :x its not as easy as it seems as the film is so thin but it can be done if you take time 8)

it can fit on a 16v but i dont know about g60

how are you going to recondition it yourself :shock: i think with a 65mm pulley youll be lookig at about 13000rpm

by the way if my C dont sell i will fit a front intercooler,i have the big bumper so should make things easier. Any1 got any pics or ideas on how to fit the front ic with the big bumper??

And so is 1 tonne of feathers....... There are other alternatives to Dynamat - you can get a thicker rubber matting stuff which semms pretty good. Heat it up and it goes sticky - kinda like the felt used to seal flat roofs to be honest! Nice and thick to stop vibrations though :) yea thats what i was thinking,dynamat is similar to that black rubbery stuff anyway the only difference i think that is covered by a sheet of alluminium on top,but that black rubber carpets that builders use should do and also they pretty cheap,im gonna have a look down B&Q to see what they got :)

by the way i have seen some Mk2 golf runing g60 block and intake manifold with a turbo and obviously whole load of engine mods he as claiming to run 430hp if i can remember right,is some black MK2 with rallye back panels,the guy showed a dyno and stuff,some Greek guy called Spyros.

hm my guess would be 65 pulley,ported head,big intercooler,rs1 charger,268 cam,exhaust manifold,chip,air filter,fuel regulator,350ccm injectors,uprated boost sensor and with a custom ehaust system with race cat. I think its possible 8)

I have no idea, :shock: i dont think ill ever be able to buy a car with as much personality as the Corrado unless i go for a 911 or a Diablo :(

Blade in this forum is runing 280hp on his g60 he recons he will brake 300hp on the 1.8 8v 8)

yea its aqua blue metallic but it has a different colour flip from the original colour Aqua Blue is NOT metallic *:) - its pearl paint mate *;) My mistake 8)

does any1 know if you can drive in uk by being insured in another eu country for a Uk car this is? One of my mates told me that you can smoehow but i dont know how true this is. Some countries in EU have cheaper insurance reates than Uk and if its legal to do it il be veryy happy indeed :D :D
