  1. lol, but Im supposed to have A/C
  2. I was just looking under the bonnet of my car and have noticed a yellow & Black wire that is not connected it has a white spade terminal on the end. Just behind the rad fans are 2 plugs, Im assuming they are engine sensors because 1 goes off to the engine block and the other goes down bellow I can see where it goes. Any way the one that goes to the block, comming from the car side has this yellow & Black wire that is not connnected, Does any one have any idea what its for.
  3. im sure the bearing is the same, ive heard that the VR6 bush is better, as in it lasts longer, ring them see what they say
  4. where are those prices from. They could be different because mine is a VR6, I never checked the prices for other models. I bought my front shocks 2 weeks ago and they were only £35 per side. The top mounts came in a kit for 11.85 included was the rubber bush and the bearing it worked out about a £1 cheaper buying the kit.
  5. I would change them for corrado ones, at least then you know they are the right ones for the car, from GSF they are only £35 per side, and because you are changing them anyway you might aswell put the right ones in.
  6. Robbo149, Which centre caps did you uses as I have the same problem....

    self strip

edd, Where are you from mate?? £900 is FAR TO MUCH that is OVER THE TOP money Too be honest he does not sound that great to me, he needs to strip it back down to bare metal " Your guy is ready to rub this down rather that replace, im not a mechanic or body shop worker, but im sure you realise that you cant properly treat rush this way, on a wing anyway its cheaper to buy a new wing if you are that worried (£130 from GPC). If your happy to pay that money for the piece of mind then thats fine, but if I were you I would shop around, ask others around you that have had work done because a recommendation is always a good thing.
  8. How does that work mate, where is the crossover, is it built in to the door speaker??? Normally the signal goes in to the crossover and from there it is split for tweeters and mids.
  9. Well done mate, that site is very helpful.
  10. Im lowering the car, using new standard shocks, I just would like to know your opinions on this set up. The springs are Spax, and drop the car 35-40mm.
  11. Im changing my springs this weekend, what I would like to know before hand is how easy/hard is it to access the top nut on the rear shocks. Also im only planning on changing the springs is there any thng else that I need to be aware of before I start. Cheers its on a 95 VR6
  12. The first thing I would check is the polatity of the speakers that you have fitted, as long as you have done the same thing on each speaker it should be fine, ie ALL the solid colour wires to the larger speaker terminal or ALL the striped wires to the large terminal, the first is the correct way, I think. The original wires are fine for what your running, Ive upgraded my speaker to infinities, I have used the standard wires for the front and rear speakers and to be honest it sounds fine to me. Its not the ideal setup because the front output on the stereo is running 4 speakers 3.5" in the dash and 5.25 in the doors. Ok eventually I will wire the new speakers with better wires, but before I connect to the amp already installed in the car I would like to fit a component set in the front, but for now it sound fine running just off the headunit, I honestly dont think that your going to get much depth from the std speakers, one because they not that big and secondly they are not as well enclosed as some of the newer cars are.
  13. chris CORRADO, After reading loads of posts about the carbon canister I removed mine and chucked it in the bin, I didnt notice any difference at all and have never seen any think come out ofthe pipes.
  14. What are speaker savers, if they are somthing you conect to the wiring then ANY where between the speaker and head unit is fine
