Okay so lomg story short water and oil leaks. Oil leaking from typical oil cooler thats fine. But also above the oil filter. Is there a temp sensor in the top of the oil filter casing? Because this is where there seems to be a stream of oil coming from. Also a steady dripping of water coming from the aux belt area. Will this be from a water pump or something pipe going into it. All new rad and stuff just cant see where the waters coming from but a steady dripping every few seconds. Why dont vr6s like not leaking!?

Thats scary numbers! If i saw them i would of stopped. Surely youre starting to break down oil at that temp. Did you run thicker oil for the track?

In my defence its on dead roads, appreciated its a bit quick but im sure 90% of people of here have a heavy foot owning a vr6. And just giving people an idea of speeds as to give a guide on revs and such. Just wanted to check, and since its the first time ive ever seen the oil go so high in 7/8 months its not as if im hooning it 24/7. Thanks anyway guys

120/130 being mph fyi

Just went from manchester to high wycombe. With a rather heavy foot. Oil runs between 100 and 106 at "normal" speeds. When giving it the go pedal for extended periods (up steep hill at 120/130ish at its most abusive.) It reached a rather scary 120c oil and slightly less than 100c. I backed off and at about 60 mph went back down to 90c water and 100c oil. Are these numbers normal? Expected? Seems daft that and engine can cook oil like that. Would an oil cooler be a good idea since i like the right pedal or am i just paranoid. Thanks!

And now it works locking and opening with key but nothing on fob

Also may be worth noting that the key opens both doors but only locks one on central locking

Really odd one this. Okay ill start from the top. Was putting a new switch in for my head lights then once i did so i tried to wind up windows. No joy... checked the fuse found to be broken, replaced the fuse (this is where it gets odd) as i put the fuse in the windows went up without me asking and the passenger door locked... okay i thought shut the door pressed the fob to lock it. Nope. And the central locking doesnt work on the key either. Basically what the f*** is going on!?

Need a moulding for a rear quarter panel and i need it yesterday. Anyone got one? I assume theyre specific for each side but i dont know how to tell. I lost one so i need to get it. Anyone have one i can buy will be much appreciated thanks

Could do with some new storm badges. Not necessarily the rear badge but really need the badge that goes around the gear surround. Any idea of where i could get it from or does any one have one that their willing to sell. Thanks all

Hi guys, getting a full respray and alloys refurbed so would like new hub caps as mine are far from presentable. They are the storm alloys and not the original caps in as they are vw caps. I believe the storm came with bbs centre caps however unsure of design or if theyre even possible to get hold of. Would be nice to get it original however far from my priority. I saw some on ebay which was 60mm diameter and the ones that were in were like 58mm (same thing?) Any help would be great thanks.

Hey sean, you commented on a thread the other day saying i shoulf get pictures up of mine despite it not being presentable. Got to say (without being rude) at the start of the post you bought a pup. What a terrible way to treat a car. Great to see people putting the effort in like you though. Mines in pretty good condition as is but still isnt as nice as i would like it and i will definitely be sinking far too much money into it much like you have in the past few years but thats not what these cars are about. buying it is the cheap part! No doubt we will probably cross paths at some point in the undoubtly sad way car enthusiasts do but the whole corrado scene seems to be a very pleasant other than some others. Great to be a part of it!

Hi all just a quick update. Got new sump, oil pump and oil pump shaft (as oil pump seized and broke it) no all is well and actually sounds better probably need new oil pump and shaft. Thanks all!🖒

Yeah im paying for it but worth every penny. Yeah going to when paints done. (Laquer peel and lots of stone chips and what not rather embarrassing atm). But yeah hopefully many fun times to come
