  1. My guy passes my car without a cat but my Hydra Carbons are low cos its running on Propane.
  2. Well time for me to chip in, ive been running my car for some 6 years now on LPG and to be fair its not a matter of how many miles per year you do but how long you REALLY intend to keep it. Conversion is around the 2 grand mark and is under half the price of petrol but what people fail to mention or realise is that its 80% as efficient. So for arguments sake you get your LPG for 40p and petrol is 85p per litre. When giving the car some Beans I get 20 mpg LPG and 25 mpg gas so really im getting well under half price fuel or in excess of 40 miles to the gallon, which ever way you prefer to look at it. Ive racked up 80.000 in my 6 years of ownership and worked out thats saved me some £5500-£6500 depending on fuel prices, so deducting the conversion of £2k (although it would to the right buyer fetch some of that back if i sold her) then its around a £4k saving that continues to line my pockets whilst I drive around in a fairly quick 230bhp 225lbsft coupe. It really does come down to I think whether or not you intend to keep the car for at least another 2 and racking up a mileage over and above 20k. With a sorted SGI (Sequential Gas Injection) system performance will only be down by about 5%
  3. Class, nice weight saving mod damn and ive only just bought a new battery. what was the delivered price as I will be getting a little un aswell.
  4. Nice new side profile sig picture CorradoVR6-n.o.s, your car is looking sweet. wcrado the VR6 is more powerfull in the mid and top range and the scoob wins out on the launch so will be a close one in my opinion.

If they are cheaper at Storm Developments you should try to contact Andy or Miles at Storm. I'm sure that they can help you with the mounting as well. If I may ask. Where have you heard of us/R-Techs? Have a nice day. Best regards Martin Holmström ______________________ Jonny Hi Jonathan Please send me the URL for the forum. The thing that Benjamin forgot to mention is that he bought it on ebay for a price that is under our purchase bacuase we wanted to see if there was a market on ebay. Therefor there is 2 customers in the world (1 in the UK and 1 in US) who got a very cheap supercharger (bracket and charger). He did not get a whole kitset so I thing you shoul ask Benjamin again how many parts he has gotten for the few euroes he paid for the "kit". Please help me with the URL for the forum. Best regards Martin Holmström ______________________ Woah woah and woah again ! I never said anything about Benjamins price being the right one and I fully realise that he got a deal that is never to be repeated, I was merely pointing out that your price of £3500 for parts only is a bit on the steap side in my opinion. Regards John Moore "remember english is not his first language, but you should all get the idea" I think somethings been lost in the translation, anywho no offence was intended by me.
  12. I havent bought a charger yet just preping the car ready for its inception ie brakes, aquamist, guages etc etc.
  13. Shows us your Boost gauge then Ben..ooh and ill bare mine !! :censored: mine tops out at 20psi IIRC
  14. £3-£4 k total spend ..Wow that is cheap, what compression drop are you going for? 2hrs on the Dyno for free...he knows you'll be back though
  15. Well I think ive spent £4000 over the six years ive had my corrado to supercharge and put some porsche brembos on will push it to the £6500 so add that to the original purchase price of £7100 ive spent £13,600 for what IMHO will be a well sorted quick and uncommon coupe. Good value I'd say but everyones different.
  16. The charger was supplied with the stock pulley, but yes you are correct I probably would have requested a larger one under the circumstances. Its only when Vince started tweaking the fueling that the charger "unlocked" and started boosting like crazy. Proper linear power too, can't wait to actually drive it! Why the F*** I said smaller for less I honestly dont know...I blame it on the Sangria as im at my folks place in Spain at the mo..adios.
  17. Would i be wrong in saying you could of opted for a smaller pulley for less PSI? Not rubbing it in just wondered if that was available to you?
  18. What a B****** sorry to hear that you must be pretty gutted! Did you see the torque figures?
  19. Well its monday night so whats the score with the remap?
  20. All reds with green bulbs look the muts in my opinion, hear what your saying on the wheels but wih those wheels and my RC's 17 and 16's weight difference is negligable.
  21. Hi mr_fusion, good effort on being the guinea pig with these chargers youve got some balls jumping in the deep end like that. Good luck with your MOT then Stealth Map looking forward to hearing your News early next week :thumbleft:
  22. Cracking example and its funny to hear how many peeps come back to being a Cnut! Not keen on the wheels in that size as IMHO they look a bit.. well ..puney! think that design looks better in a 17" still lovely looking all rounder :thumb right:
  23. Not entirely sure but i would say yes.. try here for more info http://www.bira.org/info_main.html
  24. Very nice looking example you have there my freind, still undecided which I prefer in the RC's 16 or 17's?!?!
