Son of a Beesting

Hello I was wondering what you lot out there think is better. Coilover or Damper/spring combo. Obviously I want the car to be lower (not drastically) and the ride not to be too affected although not bothered about it being stiffer. Dont really think I would do to much adjustment once I had them on. Just wondering what would make more sense. Money is a bit tight but willing to pay the extra if coilovers are substancially better. I had had the FK Konigsport coilovers recommended but if dampers the way to go what to look for? Thanking you

I am in need of new suspension for my C G60. Im looking at getting coilovers after having them recommended. I have seen the FK Highsport coilovers for sale at £445 and they seem like good value. I was just wondering if anyone has these on their C and if so are they any good? Any advise on suspension would be greatfully received!

Just picked up my G60 after John @ JMR did his thing with it for the last week. Just wanted to say thanks, great job done and the new Milltek exhaust sounds great, not 'Chav' loud just nice. I can recommend him to anyone who is thinking of getting supercharger work done. Time for the next step now, suspension and brakes! :D

The alpine 9835 is nice, glad to hear there should not be too much trouble with the radio. They are on e-bay relatively cheap.Apparently car audio security is having a sale this weekend. If anyone is interested in getting ICE on sale maybe a good place to try?? BTW im not a part owner of car audio security just trying to follow the theme of the forum and pass out helpful info!! :D

Hello Everyone I need to get ICE for my C. Unfortunately (or wisely, depending your point of view!) most of my money going on servicing/upgrades (a big thank you to John at JMR, looking forward to getting the car back :D ). So bascially im looking at getting the best system I can for cheapest money (arent we all? :wink: ) Anyway a mate at work suggested looking on e-bay. Always been a bit skeptical of getting electrical goods on e-bay, in case they go wrong etc... Just wondering if anyone has experience of buying ICE on e-bay? Is there anything I need to watch out for? The only thing I know I need to watch out for is that USA equipment wont pick up UK radio signals although seen a seller on e-bay saying that the equipment he is selling will have no problem working with UK frequencies! Any help gratefully received :)

I agree with Storm2, like to have the understated look with the black dials not silver. The orginal one at the start of the thread are the ones I was really after.

Wow £50 for all that is amazing value, Paulo VR6 is right, get charged between £30-£40 for an off the shelf number. Might have to take some measurements and give Auto Acoustics a call see what they can do. I would like to go for the real nice stuff, much more into sound quality rather than just boom-boom. But my money situation is not a friend at the mo, want to upgrade front with components when get more cash. As I only got my C last monday and its going for a charger re-build next week and all the little stone chips that C's seem to build up and the many other little (but annoying) things need doing. Need to spread my cash out. But I want to go for the best install I can afford. Hopefully by the time the summer comes round I can make it to some shows and feel proud of my little C! :D

Didnt mean to offend anyone with the whole neon thing! Dont wanna make enemies in my first few weeks of being on the forum! :oops: So 12" going to be to big for the boot, thought it might be. I would prefer sealed. If I got a sealed 12" enclosure wouldnt that be about the same as a 10" ported? Cant be that much in it? Or am I really showing my ignorance with this?? :? Not wishing to sound rude and if you dont wanna answer you dont have to but what was the rough price for auto acoustics charge for a csutom build, they are not cheap at the best of times but quality is spot on!!!

It nice to see there are a few people out there who still like things to understated and the not the whole neons and bright colours route. :lol: Are these your own one off work or can you get pre-built ones? Im not adverse to building my own its just the whole thing about getting the right volume of the enclosure that gets me a bit worried!

Is there still space I maybe interested? It does come with chrome surrounds etc.

I just brought my first Corrado and have seen the TT style dash on some old posts on the forum. Has anyone got these? Are you pleased? They look amazing in the pictures but are they a nightmare to get in? Also where did you source them from? I have seen some old group buys but I fear I'm to late to get in on them. Does anyone know if you can get them from the UK cause only place I have seen them for sale is one the Dub Design Industries web site and they are american so not ideal for UK use. Any help would be greatfully received. :D

I was just wondering how everyone has got past the problems with the corrado boot space and the lop sided spare tire in relation to sub enclosures. I am looking to get a 12 Inch sub in the boot of my Corrado. I dont have a great deal of cash to spend and Im not very good with the whole design aspect of enclosures.I still need access to my spare tire and I dont want anything to "out there" looking. Something nice and classy that fits in with the rest of the car (not a lot then!). Any ideas would really help me. Has anyone sound-deadened their car also? Worth doing? What you use? Pictures of peoples sub enclosures would be very nice if anyone has any. :D Thanks

Ok this is probably going to sound like a stupid question but I will ask anyway... :wink: I am interested in getting my supercharger rebuilt and I was just talking to G-werks but forgot to ask an important question. It says on the web page you get a 5% discount if your part of the corrado-net. I take it you just say you are when you book it in? How can they prove it? Do you have to book it in via the forum? Yes dumb question but if it saves me some money you cant blame me for asking! :D
