  1. Its not nice when you see you beloved Corrado in this state :( But it's got to be well worth it
  2. It had a connector to the bottom left hand side which i have already disconnected, but the more central one has like a round collar I am wondering if that needs unscrewed or something. If i do need some of those screwdrivers i got some just this christmas... hope they havent been thrown out yet :D
  3. Hope someone can help, i am in the middle of removing my dash for the heater matrix replacement and I have the dash loose. I now need to remove the Gauges but there is a lead with a white connector located behing the Speedo dial, and I cannot work out how to disconnect it. there is little play so I can pull it out far enough to see whats holding it in place. Has anyone any advice??? Thanks
  4. Fitted the Lupo's today and my god what a difference, i can actually see in the rain now. Next is the Headlight looms so i can see in the dark!!! Currently the Interior is in bits as i am replacing the heater matrix, but well worth the hassle as you can sort out alot of other things while your at it. Soon I'll be warm while driving :)
  5. Finally started this today and this may seem strange but I am actually enjoying it. I am using the guide from the link above and it's actually quite simple. It also gives you a good chance to clean all the parts of the dash throughly and sort of understand the electrics behind there. I have thought of doing other mods to the dash and now I have done this realise how easy some of them can be. Worthwhile job to do and soon I'll have lovely heat and clear windows while driving :D
  6. Yeah just not sure if they would suit a red raddo. Have you any pics, i would like to see them on another C?
  7. Any idea on price??? Retail or GB????
  8. Do you guys really have to write in black and white what my wages will be spent on over the next couple of months/years!!!! But then again why the hell do we own Corrados???? The best cars in the world and well worth it!!!
  9. The shortlist wasnt bad considering what you can choose from :bigsmurf: Anyway i have got a real good price on the KR5's.... £580 Probably a long shot but can anyone do a Photoshop with these rims and my car (in gallery) as i am starting to think they may be too aggressive looking for a red raddo :?
  10. Power or Powered, I like that better than Driven. Also I think any of the other fonts look better than the one shown. 2p worth
  11. Been putting it off since November but with snow here last week and worse weather forcast, i think i need to tackle it this weekend as I have a free one. I have the new Matrix but would there be anything else i might need before i start???
  12. Cheers Heardy, exactly what i was after  I'll be starting at the weekend and see how I get on :?
  13. Ok it may not be difficult but really I dont even have a clue where to start, if somebody could just give a few pointers as to where to start and what to watch out for along the way it could maybe cut down on the time it takes. I cant believe there are no guides on how to do this when it's a notorious corrado problem. Any help at all :?
  14. Gavin, can you point me in the direction of anywhere that tells me how to do it??? I wil be ordering some headlight looms in the very near future :) PM me with price and how i go about ordering. Thanks
  15. Ok i really need to attempt this job at the weekend. Harry, can you provide a how too doing it your way. I would like to make this as easy as possible. If not can anyone else point me in the direction of a Heater Matrix Replacement How to, I believe there is one on the CCA forum but I can't locate it.
  16. Sorry mate but we all have to fund our Raddo's in someway
  17. Yeah this is definately true i got 3 points when caught coming into a 30 zone from a 60 zone...... I tried to argue that the sign was hidden and I needed time to slow down. The w**nker said I was clocked at 52mph and the limit in a van is 50 in a 60 zone. He give me no more room to argue when he pull out his little chart to prove it.
  18. I would also be interested depending on price???
  19. Really like the outline now, maybe just tidy up the writing a little and not to sure about the driven bit!!!! Trying to think up something else but it's late.
  20. Yeah he spoke to me about it and i was half expecting it, only I kept quiet until he mentioned it  He reckons about £20-£25 because the weight of the Mat. No rush on the encloser, I want a decent encloser and James says he will take his time until he gets it right, so thats why I am Interested in the GB. Should be worth waiting for :)
  21. Exactly the same thing on this side of the lough :x Washed and polished on Sunday too
  22. I really dont think the points make that much difference, if you do a quote on Elephant.com i think for every 3 points they add around £100. With my previous policy on a group 4 Focus I didnt claim my 6 points and my premium was £500, now i have the Valver and claimed my 6 points my Premium only went up £100 even with the Insurance group being so much higher. I really think this is cause it's your first time insurance, but having points now, may just make it harder for companies to take you on. If the Lupo wipers are still up for grabs I have money waiting?
  23. Thanks Pablo, i eventually won a set on Ebay and ended up paying just £210 for them from a guy in England. Just waiting for my Audioscape door pods to arrive and they will be installed after that.
  24. Kev i was speaking to James today so can you mark me as paid for the Pods and Mat GB. After speaking to him I have to say that I will definately be considering the Encloser Group Buy too. I was going to attempt one myself but then realised that for £150, whats the point doing it yourself when someone more experienced can do all the hard work and you know you will end up with a good quality finished Install. Look forward to seeing the pics.
