  2. Cheers mate, i would have alot of work to do before i could put my C on show. Needs a respray, new rims, suspension and that just before i would put it on display. I am working on it but cashflow dictates how quickly it will be done. Would love to be able to say I can but you never know, i will maybe take a trip down and see whats on show anyway.

    Which Amp

I was going to put my Phoenix Gold QX 150.4 on Ebay shortly. Don't really know what it's worth but if you want to make me an offer PM me.
  4. You could be my new best friend  Tell me more before i decide to go ahead and rip the Dash out
  5. Try Quinn Direct you'll find them in the Yellow Pages
  6. Hi Pablo mate, if only you had said sooner  Can you give me details on your car and how soon you need to sell it? Maybe interested
  7. Not much room behind the dash, but if you take off the under tray on the passenger side you can pull the wires through and sort them out from that end while pushing the HU in from the front.
  8. Can anyone help me out with the above question? Who do i contact to find out if VW will do this?
  9. I ordered a set just before christmas and they told me i would get them the 3rd week in Jan. I dont know if thats because of christmas backorders, so you may be looking at Feb sometime if you order now.
  10. I am happy to organise another group buy. I will discuss prices for 10 or more orders with him when I see him next. I think they were around the £140 mark last time. Well worth the money if you're serious about your sounds. Any idea when you will see him next??? And could anyone who is interested please make yourselves known.
  11. I agree with the points above, but you mention the sound in your car sounds good enough, so why bother with the second amp and sub when the money could maybe be spent on something your car needs more. On the other hand if you think you need to improve the sound I would add the amp and sub and to hell with what others think, if it's good quality then it's certainly not Chav :multi:
  12. £180    Wasn't there a group buy on here not so long ago, and if so how much did you pay in the end? Would it be too soon to arrange another??[schild=1 fontcolor=FF0000 shadowcolor=C0C0C0 shieldshadow=1]Anyone for a Group Buy[/schild]
  13. If you can't be annoyed send her round and I'll fix her wagon
  14. That explains why she has your old GTI and calls round to your house for you to fix it
  15. Did you check the EX Girlfriends pockets for any spare parts??? Maybe she wants back into your trousers!!!
  16. Cheers mate, i hear what your saying, but really i am looking for the easiest way out of 6 hours work and a load of bare knuckles  The matrix was gone when i bought the car so i dont know if boiling water/coolant sprayed into the cabin when the Matrix went :? Worth a shot though so if anyone knows who to contact to find out it would be appreciated :)
  17. Just checked the recall thread and it seems my VIN falls within the second WVW...50.LK 000 001 to WVW...50.LK 012 693 bracket. As I am from Northern Ireland can anyone give me any info on who i should be contacting to see if VW will do the dirty work for me. What a Christmas Present that would be
  18. Ok i am not looking forward to starting this job, but temperatures say i must  I have been looking on the CCA forum and can't find the info on this topic. can anyone help out with where to look or have any advice of their own. Thanks
  19. Cheers mate, I know it well and was thinking of going to Ballymena tomorrow for some last minuite Chrimbo shopping to beat the crowds in Belfast. I'll give them a try, and if you see a red Corrado about make sure you flash your lights.
  20. Hi mate thanks for the advice and feedback. Think i seen you in Bangor a couple of weeks ago on the ring road heading towards Bryansburn, i work in Bangor every Friday (in a white van so you wouldnt have seen me) and always seen a red C sitting near the Shell Station at Gransha. Your car is looking well and hopefully I will have mine up to standard soon. My interior does look good only thing is the heater matrix needs replacing (freezing this time of year) and some other electrical jobs, apart from that I will be happy as soon as I get my new speakers fitted. On the outside I have a fair bit of work to do but this will have to wait till after Chrimbo, but i'll hopefully get it done for summer. Then I may decide to look under the Bonnet  I will check out the Club GTI forum now One other question.... who do you use for Servicing, repairs and parts???? Thanks again!!
  21. Cheers Neil but i want to keep the little teeeeef that i have left :(
  22. Well if you notice it's also in a Corsa... bet he thinks it's the dogs too!!!
  23. Yeah i had a problem with these type of bolts before, but manage to keep getting a replacment key till i eventually got them loosened  there is no spinning collar on these bolts but what I am taking from the advice given, is that I should find a socket head that is slightly smaller than the bolt head, and force it over the bolt till I have enough grip to turn it. The bolt head is sunk in to the alloy so there is no way of getting near it with a hammer or anything else for the " if all else fails, whack it" approach
  24. I think i have decided to go for the KR5's, as Dubprince says they would be more unique. Does anyone know of any fitted to a Corrado?? And any pics???
  25. Has anyone any suggestions on how to do this as I have a puncture and just realised I dont have the key and neither does the previous owner? I have bought new ones so it doesn't matter if I wreck these ones trying to get them off!! The nuts that are on it have 3 indentations on the face of the nut. Thanks in advance.
